Here's my theory: you've heard of the "Ugly friend effect" right? Where standing next to a less attractive mate…
I'm crying lol. I can still tolerate her acting, but its her monotonous, dragging, "no emotion at all" voice that makes my head ache. Like even when she's angry or sad or happy, her voice is all the same to me. She's only one of the worst actors I've seen till now in a Kdrama. I love everything but her in this amazing drama.
The only person who according to me acts badly is the girl who plays Joy's best friend, like everything about the way she acts is so annoying, the way she talks draggingly, how she says everything in the same pitch, and just how she acts like a little kid. I honestly don't understand why y'all pick on Joy, when there's a whole Ko Kyung Joo to hate.
This drama wasn't for me... I didn't like it... :( 5.5/10
I didn't like it at first either and I was wondering why people liked it, but something made me go back to it, and it is truly just awesome. You should give it another chance.
I can't believe I almost gave up on this after Episode 2 because it gave me a very melancholy feel (I hate melodramas), but something made me come back to this and I'm so glad I did. It was sad at times, but in a good way, and I couldn't keep my eyes off. I think I finally found a drama that I loved and thoroughly enjoyed, after a long time. The actors were cast perfectly, and I must say I'm in love with Junho. I WOULD SAY THIS IS ALREADY ONE OF THE BEST DRAMAS OF 2018.
You're so right about Kim Rae Won's character (in the present). Like, he could have been a good guy with flaws,…
I agree, Suspicious Partner wasn't great but Ji Wook as a character was very appealing. Kim Rae Won is too bland here, it'd be nice to marry a perfect guy, but he ain't no drama-worthy material. And yeah, the chemistry and liveliness of their romance is non-existent.
After hearing all the high praises about this drama of course I had to watch it, but I feel so sorely disappointed right now, like I feel this drama is just dragging too much. I'm glad for Shin Se Kyung though who has truly proved her skills, and as for Kim Rae Won, his character is so perfect that it seems boring to me at times, i.e, apart from being a good kisser, there was nothing interesting about him till now. (Says sorry to Kim Rae Won from My Little Bride) Honestly, the only reason I'm watching this drama is for Sharon, the girl makes me fast forward most main couple scenes because she's worth the attention somehow.
I had such high high high hopes for this drama because it has three amazing actors: Dong Ha, Park Eun Bin, Yeon Woo Jin and we all know how amazing they are but somehow I am so sorely disappointed. I waited for 18 episodes giving this a chance, but no, I can't imagine continuing watching this. I loved Park Eun Bin in Age of Youth but she's too annoying here.
This is definitely one of my favorites this year. I started this out without much high expectations, but this changed my perception completely. I'm glad to see a change in characters, and believe me, if you don't like the female lead at first, she will literally grow on you. And Yoon Hyun Min is ADORABLE. And even though it's not exactly a romantic drama, I can feel the chemistry between them glowing.
I shadowed doctors for a week at a hospital like this, and I must say they play the roles so well, it's amazing. And I must especially applaud Kang Min Hyuk. I love how the writers paid attention to even the slightest details. Also, all the hospital scenes seem pretty realistic. It's worth watching.
I WOULD SAY THIS IS ALREADY ONE OF THE BEST DRAMAS OF 2018.
Honestly, the only reason I'm watching this drama is for Sharon, the girl makes me fast forward most main couple scenes because she's worth the attention somehow.
