Seven is filming with Wang Kai now for Flight to you. Then there's a rumor Allen Ren already gave her a script to review for their most awaited reunion. And they are still waiting for iqiyi short drama series to finalize since it has the script Songyun wants. So I'm not sure if they would ever start shooting this series. Maybe they would but I would not be surprised now if they will just change the female lead.
Unlike the source material of The Sword and the brocade which is exquisite that's why I want the screenwriter to copy almost everything but sadly she didn't. This series has a very "idol" drama storyline novel. So I'm hoping the screenwriter would not copy the storyline entirely but just the 12 airline cases on it and just give Seven and Wang Kai a fresh take on workplace drama.
Individually great, but I'm not sure about this pairing.
If you read the novel where it's based from you would understand why they are a great pair. Not best because the heroine was supposed to be tall but the personality suits Seven best as Cheng Xiao and Wang Kai as Gu Nanting. I just hope the screenwriter make a better version because there are many cliche in the novel.

I think it's because we have high expectations that's why we can't appreciate it like the rest. I watched this series because I love Allen in UTP and Fair Xing in PYHOMS and like you I dropped it because the chemistry is not there in my opinion compare to their other works that made me their fan. Anyway I still love them individually.

He's not sick of it. I've heard it's because he's married that's why he has a no kissing contract. But I've also heard he has a kissing scene with Bailu for their series. I'm just not sure if it's camera trick like UTP or it's a real kiss.

Yes. Chinese government is so rich thst they keep on building infrastructure even outside their territory. Its really a dilemma for me because I love many Chinese actors but everytime I see their action in my country I always remember their bad side. China is already so big why bother with our little island. Anyway it's just the government I'm mad because I understand ordinary people has no say in the actions of their leaders in China.

In China, actors have options to choose if they want to join a company or be an independent artist. Most of the time, it's a smart choice to join a company since they can help the actors get better deals because companies have influence and money. But the downside of being part of a company is you can't make decisions on your own. For example the most recent Yang Zi and Huanrui debacle,where some of her fans are accusing Huanrui of forcing Yang Zi to accept a role. So Seven is lucky that eventhough she doesn't have a backing, she was able to get good scripts and she has her own team that supports her career decisions.
