Actually most of it are discussed in the novel. Except for using cash which I think is implied because of how dangerous his job is. I hope they had included the part where his previous leaders teased him because of the letters that Gui Xiao sent him during his training days 😂

Yes. I think using cash is more on the safety side since he has a really dangerous job that goes after terrorists and high profile criminals.

The novel was made years ago when videocall is not common. But I think they still don't do videocall even if time is set on 2022 because Lu Chen's phone is monitored. Remember when GX message him about the bed missing him 😂 and he said be careful on what you are saying.

For costume drama. My number one would be Under the power. Then Dream of splendor, Love between fairy and devil and Love like the galaxy.

If you want romance with many angsty scenes try Lighter and Princess and I have a crush on you. My favorite now is Road Home but this one is just too sweet some people complain that it's just too sweet. 😂

Yes they have new series every week. If you want something like this one I can't really think of something so similar. Try school Dramas like Le coup DE foudre, When we were young, With you, salute to my youth, put your head on my shoulder, Twenty your life on and The best of you in my mind.

I can't think of any as good as this. But you can check out Ode to joy and Nothing but thirty. Also slice of life series.

I haven't seen a Chinese crime drama that interest me. My benchmark for it is Criminal Minds so quite hard to match 😂

I'm honestly in Songyun's loop now 😂 Since I'd watch UTP I have a hard time liking other series. RH now is my only Playlist. I don't know for how long. But if you like leads like Seven check out works of Wan Peng, Irene Song, Fair Xing and Esther Yu. They may be not as good as her but their series are entertaining.

I think her movie would be out on or before Christmas. Well that's how good she is. Her drama inventory is used up all the time because she always made money for the investors 😂
