This is a masterpiece show. I am so frustrated with some of the reviewers. I am always ok with whatever as everyone has different opinion, but if you not into this type of dramas why bother watching it, and blame it for not being something you wanted it to be? WTF are these top reviewers smoking.
This kdrama is so wholesome, multiple conversations which made me shiver. About dating -how some of it will revolve around her condition, about using her as she has no choice, how without saying any words characters understand each other.
It's just so wholesome, no angst watching it, so peaceful. These scenes draw you in, it's better than any action scene or pay back to some evil character's antics lasting 50 episodes in a makjang drama.
It might not be your type of show, which is fine - but It's one of the kind kdrama, perfectly executed for this type of vibe which the director and actors wanted to show to the viewer. You don't need to like this type of kdramas, but don't bring it down just because it's not your type for something it shouldn't have been. Move on.
Very talented and alluring individual. Can't believe this is Joo Myung's first role, every time I saw her in My Fellow Citizens I thought she was some kind of popular actress, wanted to check out what dramas she was main in, to see if I would be interested in those.
So was shocked to see it was her first role. A bit sad that she wasn't given as much opportunities / screen time to shine though. Director could've added a little bit of subplot about their past for her role, as well as for the other conman.
Same. Idk how so many people like the character of Hooja. She wasn't intimidating or hardcore for me at all...Miyoung…
You don't have to like her, but that's extremely obvious that Min Jung played the character exceptionally well, that's why people like her. It was obvious that that's the character director had in mind and wanted her to play this way. Just look at the whole vibe of the show.
Sure if I tried to take this as a serious drama you could say she played poorly. But this wasn't, she played perfectly in accordance to the whole vibe of the show.
Amazing kdrama, 10/10 definitely. Great until the last few minutes. Felt a bit rushed, I wanted to see it wrapped up slower over whole episode at least.
I wanted to see if Park Hu Ja went to prison or ran away overseas, and how police gave up / still looking for her, and how she was living now, in prison or overseas.
I also wanted to see Jung Kook and Mi Yoong make up. Just because she came to see him doesn't mean they are together. Maybe she just came to wrap things up, or maybe she thought she could do it but few months into the relationship it was too much to cope with.
I also wanted to see what Jung Kook decided to do after getting released. I didn't quite get the #2 sign. Did he get re-elected, or what. I would've loved that.
And no closure for Sang Jin - wanted to see something good happen to him. i.e. dating, and back into politics, becoming assemblyman.
No closure for Joo Myung as well, wanted to see him out of the prison, out of politics, enjoying his family time.
Also wanted to know how long did Jung Kook spend in prison... looked like 1-2 years maximum.
Personally I found his character really refreshing, you could see how much he matured and made a lot of progress. And…
Hahaha, I understand. I am exactly the same, and hate when people comment on my posts months later when I don't even remember - but understand me, I just finished watching it, so couldn't help myself lol. It's all subjective anyway, so no point arguing/discussing imo, just for future readers maybe, 2 sides of the coin presentable here.
I'm in episode 4... But i must ask... Mrs actress, is poking your eyes out acting? Relax a bit please, they didn't…
Maybe you need to be more attentive. I could read her emotions behind the screen extremely well. With her blank, cold, dead stare, you could foreshadow what was about to come, which it did.
Why they left it open? I hate that so much. People say, for others to interpret as they see fit, etc. But this is author's story, not mine, I want to know how he sees this end - because as time progresses it MUST end. There is no other way, there is no open ending.
And I don't want to imagine an ending for other people's story. I want to know exactly how it ends.
Of course, it is pretty much a given that Hye Soo will pass away... but I wanted to see when and how.
Honestly, because now, however unrealistic it is, I am hoping she would survive - by some miracle new treatment, i.e. that doctor from US reaching out saying there is an experimental trial going on with high success.
But I know how unrealistic that is, though in life miracles like that can happen, but it's at the level of a lottery, so can't count on it. But I can't still settle it in my mind, can't accept that she dies, and because of it, I am in a dead-lock emotionally, which makes me frustrated....
Can't believe she is not more popular, she was so great in Whirlwind girl. Very affectionate acting and infectious smile. I am 100% confident this will be one of the top actresses in the near future to come, now with her getting main roles.
Years later when this post becomes true and she has won many rewards, and acted in many top dramas as main lead, please tag me :)
Really great actress, love her voice and her character personas are always intriguing and well-played. I wish she would have her own romcom drama where she takes lead.
Some people complain it's slow paced, but lol, in 1st episoe already attempting to kiss, and other things going down. No way is it slow paced, if anything perfectly paced, letting character development to sink in. Perfect slice of life drama.
Just wish Du Shik wouldn't have ended up like that, and would've loved if they expanded the love life of Du Young, him with his coach for example.
It felt underdeveloped, so many paths unexplored. That's why end of the day I prefer dramas, since there many more hours for character development and gives perfect setting to provide backbone to characters' backstories, etc.
I freaking hate time skips. 13 years later? Seriously. I got used to the show after 3 hours, and loved it. People say time skips are necessary to progress story, but no, they are lazy way out. We could've received a condensed story in 1-2 episodes, how she studied for years day and night over all seasons of the year, how she studied in university, worked as intern in hospital, her relationships with any friends etc. Just briefly, with 2-3 month timeskips.
13 years later just makes you wonder what happened to all those people, all those students, what they went through in all those years, and how did she survive etc. Some of it will be revealed in future episodes probably, but still. I just wish timeskips would not exist, and authors would use more original ways to progress story, such as condensing it over 1-3 episodes, key facts of the past 13 years.

I really hope she will get her time to shine and main in some great drama. Please ping me when this happens so I don't miss it :)

And were you even bothered to keep up with the story - everything have happened to him, it's a given that he would be crying.
Extremely good acting from Uee in this series.

I wish it ended in full..

Even though you don't discuss the very details, it is still more than enough to tell people who or what and when.

Other than that, too many feels...
