i was afraid the ending would be angst just like rooftop prince that’s why i was a little hesitant to start…
Can you amend your answer and put it into spoilers please? It's not exactly nice spoiling the nature of endings of other dramas. Even if its an old drama, for example I haven't seen it and had it on my plan to watch list for awhile. And even though you didn't give specifics, knowing the way it will end now, doesn't make me want to watch.
i love this drama ...i just want something a little more sweet bonding moment from the couple in the end
Same.. last couple dramas I watched, great, but just enough bonding time. I want in the middle like 2-4 episodes of bonding with no sad plot twists. And in the end whole episode dedicated to bonding, with no time skips, with any sad plot twist resolved towards end of the pre-last episode.
First - 10/10, great drama, it gave me much more than I expected. I loved how real it felt. Not sure how to put it.. felt more realistic than real life.
2 things bugged me though, relatively subjective.
1) English classic songs - I don't dislike them in kdramas, I have seen a few which felt great, but in here..... I know drama was going for a classic feel, that could be felt without the English classic music. I think they should've used Korean songs or at least English modern sad songs. It just felt extremely depressing and out of place, made me frustrated every time it played.
2) I hate time-skips. No exception. This is subjective - everyone argues it is necessary to advance the story, if well executed they don't mind it, etc. I don't care, my opinion of it is that I hate it. I can't stand it. I can't stand not knowing what happened for 3 + years throughout, and knowing that characters suffered during all those years, without it being shown even.
I don't understand howJoon Hee thought he was in the right, and got upset at Jin Ah? Makes no sense, if anything he is the one to blame. Jin Ah was going through extremely tough times, sexual harassment case, got shipped off to some unknown place to work, had to suffer her parents abuse. And he just left. Sure he wanted to make it better, but if it was really for her, when she said she didn't want to go, he would've stayed. It was so random and frustrating.
Also wish they would've shown how Jin Ah won the sexual harassment case, but it doesn't look like those people got punished. The company should've suffered.
Yeah, damn.... I really hope Jang Do Han isn't dead.... but they talked about him as if he was. Maybe he is in…
I think it was quite self-explanatory with why Soo Ji was chosen. The guy is a sociopath, he was missing a good family relationship, and he hated seeing others have it. He got triggered when he saw how well she was treated by her mother. And when an opportunity came he decided to act.
You don't have to explain to me about overseas fans being important or not. All of that is subjective, I am telling you facts, not my opinion, how producers see it. If they don't make money out of it why would they care, about people illegally watching their shows.
Yeah, damn.... I really hope Jang Do Han isn't dead.... but they talked about him as if he was. Maybe he is in…
I would love a second season, like you said there are lots of material still and areas to be explored.
However, Koreans aren't big on 2nd seasons for k-dramas, no matter how good it is and open ended the ending was. So the chances of it are slim.
Unfortunately the petition doesn't really help either, I have seen people do it before with thousands / dozens of thousands of signatures and no reply, since they primarily look at their own domestic audience, that's where they get money from.
In terms of the student - it is quite clear I think why he was like that. Bad parenting. His father is a sociopath himself, so the child struggled getting his attention, praise and guidance, whereas his mother was sheltering him. So he developed sociopath tendencies himself.
I think there's a lot of material for a second season and maybe Do Han isn't dead but in a coma... i hope....
Yeah, damn.... I really hope Jang Do Han isn't dead.... but they talked about him as if he was. Maybe he is in a comma, or just locked up, or went travelling. Would be nice to see season 2 with him back. Also wonder what happened with that student. His character had lots of potential, would be nice to see whole season around him - how he escaped and plotted lots of messed up things (without anyone dying though).
i did not spoil the plot AT ALLyou might have an idea in your head of what a "weak" ending means but that has…
I tried being polite, but seeing how you are a prude, I will say it in a fashion you will understand:
No shit sherlock, never did I imply that romantic pairing had anything to do with the end result. That was just one of many examples. I didn't read shit into your words. Clearly you read into mine, with all these assumptions you just made, not being able to comprehend when to read between the lines.
Not sure what I expected making this comment. If you were to write for yourself as well as the readers then you would've accepted that small criticism from your reader who clearly expressed the interest in your writing as well as something which made it unpleasant for him.
From your unprofessional reaction and response I can clearly see that you are just writing to satisfy your own vices. Please do us a favour and next time just write in notepad, and when you are done, delete it. Let more professional people do the articles.
Can you please try not spoiling dramas in your reviews? Started reading what you wrote about "My Only Love Song", not a couple sentences later you spoil the ending, saying how weak it is.
Sure, you didn't say X didn't end up with Y, but let's be honest, everyone knows what a weak ending means. Especially as soon as you are couple episodes in. It might not have spoiled the plot word for word, it still makes watching the drama unpleasant. I really wanted to watch it after your opener, but now I just cannot bring myself to do so, because of the ending spoiler.
Stop being ridiculous. I have only seen her in 1% but her acting was great, felt like she was a real sister of the main lead. Hope in the future she will have plenty great main roles.
Can someone recommend me something similar? I have already seen both other recommendations which show up on main…
Sounds great. As cool as superhero aspect is (never thought I would say it, never liked those western marvel/dc comics or movies), I don't mind if everything else is the same - charming leads with great relationship between the two and great plot. From your description sounds exactly like that, so thanks!

Thanks. Yeah, Shopping King Louis would fit the bill perfectly, I have seen it before xD Forgot to mention as it was awhile back compared to those other two.
I hope Oh my ghost will be spot on, because actually I was about to watch it before you suggested xD Must be great in a similar fashion then. Cheers
