I came across this article yesterday only. I found it so cute with little descriptions and pictures and genre tags. Gave it a swift read and hopped onto find the first novel listed here- Sansheng, Wangchuan Wu Shang.
Ofcourse read it in a day, and now I'm really looking forward for the adaptation drama. Hope it's adapted soon. So much love itttt!!!!
Now I'm hopping onto the next one- Seven Unfortunate Lifetimes, All Thanks to a Single Moment of Impulse.....
I really like how the articles mentions Jiang Yanli here. Though she isn't the main lead of the series, The Untamed, but her character is so well written that her traits are hard to forget.
I really used to tear up whenever her character song ost- Discontented used to play in the series.
I love the quote from ' The Untamed ' the most. "Who cares about the crowded, broad street. I'll walk on my single- plank bridge till it's dark". - Wei Ying
I really appreciate your idea of digging some of the best old articles and compiling them like this. Moreover you clearly credited the original writers and brought out the best of their articles. Nice going!!
I'm at episode 2 right now, and I can't believe that the director still doesn't let Si Mok eat anything. Seriously from season 1 to season 2 how come he still gets interrupted while eating?
I just completed this drama series. It was so cute. It is a mix of fluffy and serious romance. Must give a try. And the alternate ending, what do I say it was the best thing. Couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear in the last episode. I wish more dramas had such alternate endings. Especially Legend of Yunxi.
There are some highlights in this series which definitely makes it different from the common Chinese fluffy and cheesy romance dramas.
1. The portrayal of the second lead / Prince Xing Chen: He wasn't the same as the usual stubborn second lead we see , who always tries to snatch away the girl or conspires against the first lead. He was shown accepting his fate and had quite a mature character.
2. The twist: I won't reveal it, but surely was not something I expected. It was a nice one.
3. Trustworthy couple: In the beginning their behaviour towards each other (especially Xu Yao's) really bugged me, but later it developed beautifully. In the beginning his treatment was a bit harsh towards her.
Whatever you do , don't watch it without watching the alternate ending.
Just got over with this series. It was a torment to my body, mind and soul. Just can't help myself but think why was it so hard for Xiaofeng to receive a bit of sincerity from the only person she loved the most. Literally in the whole story Gu Xiaowu does nothing but hides things from her, even if it's for her good. There was not a bit of sincerity in his love. It was more of an obsession than love.
Really it all started with a motive of revenge, that too a misplaced revenge against Danchi for killing his brother. Then somehow turned into revenge against the Prime minister and Empress. To finally a power struggle for the throne. And through all this he dragged poor, simple and straight- forward Xioafeng till her death. Couldn't he see that he killed her again and again with the death of her loved ones. So saddddd. But he never deserved her in anyway. Ultimately it was he himself who was the most dangerous person to her.
Never thought that I could hate it all so much and still not let go the series till the end. Now I'll continue to cry over it for days................................................
Tomoe is that you ?! xDAarif needs a chance to shine because Princess Silver's mediocre plot "harmed" all the…
Well as for me despite being a long drama of 58 episodes I gave " Princess Silver" a genuine try. But like most of them out there, it was all a mess. Started great, nice casting too, but mid way screwed everything. Unnecessary complications, misunderstandings, stupid sacrifices for each other in the name of love that all remained in the drama by almost the end. So I dropped it.
I don't know with what kind of expectation did I started this drama, it was just so bad. But it could be that to fill the void I was feeling after Love & Redemption, this drama wasn't upto the bar. Neither I am fan of either of the leads, but seriously the characters and story was just so frustrating.
Ofcourse read it in a day, and now I'm really looking forward for the adaptation drama. Hope it's adapted soon. So much love itttt!!!!

PS- I really like the toilet article.
