Bcs from ep 6, the real life setting was the mainly shown with minimal vr scenes.

Ep 6 onwards it's super good trust me just get past those first 5 episodes!!

As it was clear in this drama that she became so obsessed with it that it really blurred the difference between reality and imagination. She was too into it. Although her mind knew it was public, her heart refused to understand.

Hey! I do understand how you feel a bit skeptical about the vr thing but i recommend you to just get past ep 5 bcs after that it's more focused on the real life than the vr. Ep 6-10 were my favourites. Hope you like it!!
