Did anyone find the subbed version of the preview?

The posters have me intrigued

Tbh I was starting to lose interest in the first half of ep 4. But the episode finished really strong. It’s a very slow burn, even slower than One Spring Night and Something in the rain which had more of a focus on romance. With this one they’re focusing more on the academic side of things. The second half of ep 4 was great, I am hopeful the story is gonna start to pick up from next week.

They aren’t even romantically involved yet but the scene where they’re texting each other gave me butterflies. They have chemistry, I just hope it doesn’t get wasted by the writing.

Ep 11 wasn’t only the best episode in the drama but it was also one of the best romcom episodes I’ve ever watched. Just the perfect amount of romance and comedy. Masterpiece

Kdramas have peaked. If they stick the landing with this one, it’s going straight to the top of my all time fav dramas.

Just that this and QoT are both completely different. If you compare this to QoT, you will obviously find it “slow”. But this is a slow burn melodrama, if that’s not your thing, you’ll be disappointed.

First episode wasn’t a let down at all. For people expecting something similar to One Spring Night and Something in the Rain, this is a pretty good first episode. If you’re expecting it to be similar to QoT this is bound to disappoint you.

Yep. Korean education system is very intense. You need to watch Sky Castle if you haven’t already. It’s a great drama which sheds light on how obsessed the Korean society is with sending their kids to top schools.

Good first episode. It gave me One Spring Night and Something in the Rain vibes which is exactly what i was looking for. The first half was a little slow but the second half was really good. The leads have great chemistry, I can’t wait to see their story unfold.

Episode 3 was brilliant. I wasn’t fully invested after first 2 episodes only intrigued by the unique plot. I’m fully invested now.

I can’t believe tvn thought this would flop. Did they even read the script for this? The writing has been phenomenal. Not just that everything from acting, directing and OSTs have been top notch. This is the best thing tvn has put out since 2521.

Can’t wait for the weekend. One Spring Night is one of my most rewatched dramas. I think it’s mainly due to the director. The way he films his dramas makes them feel so atmospheric. You feel like you’re living in the moment with these fictional characters. One Spring Night and Something in the rain didn’t have very exceptional stories especially SITR which I thought was a train wreck in the second half. But this director made them special.

Yeah I get your point but I’d rather have all the focus on the leads than them being sidelined by random side stories. Lack of focus on the leads totally ruined QOT. And tbh the main characters story is so amazing and expansive, I get why it’s taking all the screen time. Their love story literally spans over a decade.

Going back to the past is the whole point of the show. Other people like the FL and ML both otherwise this show won’t be this highly rated. She’s arguably the most important character with the most screen time, this drama would not have worked if she was “unlikable”.

Almost half of Meloncholia’s episodes were when the guy was still a student. I think this one is more focussed on when they’re both colleagues. I hope this one is different cuz I really did not like Melancholia.
