I am very sceptical about Ye Li trying to take revenge because it's been used so much. In book it was better how…
@Mia I agree with you. I loved their relationship in the book. Even as a forced marriage, they didn’t hate or despise each other. It was a refreshing change from most drama.
They could have kept the essence of the book even without the rebirth. From the beginning, their relationship was based on respect for one another. Now I’m a bit worried it will be the same old hate/suspicion and then love relationship like most of the other dramas.
Yes 🙌 What is your favourite costars in his future dramas?
@Filofretka. I first saw CL in My Journey to You and instantly loved him. He perfectly played the intense, fierce and yet somewhat vulnerable character. Like you, I need more than pretty or popularity.
Li Ye, the eldest daughter of the Ye family, married into the dilapidated Dingwang Mansion and married Xiuyao Mo, who had disabled legs. On the day Li Ye got married, Jingli Mo and Ying Ye, the second daughter of the Ye family, also got married on the same day. As a descendant of Mount Li, Li Ye was sealed in the mountain for eight years. After marriage, she seemed to be fine, but in fact, she secretly planned to eliminate the officials who harmed Mount Li one by one. In the process, she was suspected by Xiuyao Mo, who was also seeking revenge. The two of them exerted their own strength and threw a huge rock into the seemingly calm lake. Jingli Mo, who was a childhood sweetheart of Li Ye, was known as the "Opera Prince", but he was secretly stirring up trouble and plotting to usurp the throne. Li Ye finally joined forces with Xiuyao Mo to assist the young emperor in taking power, crushing the successive conspiracies of Muyang Hou and Liwang, and returning peace to the world.

@Filofretka. Since CL and BL have previously met on Keep Running, it makes it even easier to have great chemistry. I’m so happy he’s finally being recognized as a great actor.
IMO, he was perfection as Gong Shang Jue in My Journey to You.
