If I understand correctly they've filmed most of the drama already, like up to episode 18. I wonder how they are going to do this? Replace him and act like nothing happened, or kill him off and change the script. I vote for the second option!

I found the first 10 episodes quite slow and boring. I happily fast forwarded through the first 10 epi, it's getting better though, currently on 17. My only disappointment is the ML's character, he's totally naïve in the romance department.
Wow, this was so cheesy I couldn't stand it past episode 9. Fast forwarded through the rest, it is the most innocent and naïve drama, couldn't handle all that fluff. Dropped.

The story of Minglan was set on The northern Song dynasty (920-1279). The Sword And The Brocade was set on the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). I didn't watch Under The power.
Why are people complaining about how many wives he has? This is a historic drama, in history this drama would be accurate, one man of high rank, a wife and several concubines. I see the FL as being very smart, people judge so quickly when the drama isn't even half way in. We are only on episode 12, let her character grow peeps! The ML doesn't even love any of his concubines (which doesn't even matter), they are there for marriage status planned by his mother, also a historic norm. This is not Ming Lan, two completely different storyline and era. The first ten episodes were a bit slow but I have faith it'll get better from here. I am actually enjoying this slow burn and can't wait until the feelings start to roll in.
It’s very similar to “In a class of her own”, but this drama isn’t as good. I’m on episode 3 and it’s honestly quite boring so far. I’m not feeling the characters, just whiny boys pranking and fooling around. Plot is messy and unstable.
We have some top notch actors in this drama who I really like. I’m just not sure if this particular drama is my cup of tea. The first episode didn’t quite catch my drift, will put this one on hold until I get further feedback from my fellow community on here.
This was fun and lighthearted. I am so happy SJ didn't turn into a villain like his sisters did. I love the closeness of BH's family, there were absolutely no betrayals. This is the kind of drama I needed to see after many heartbreaking dramas I've watched lately. A happy ending for all who deserved it and exile for the ones who did wrong.
I just finished the last episode. I am disappointed at the ending, not because of the cliffhanger. I'm now left feeling confused and with many questions unanswered. I feel half emptied.
I knew XW was a century old soul beast when she was in Star Forest interacting with Er Ming. He transferred soul rings to her like bam 1, 2 ,3! Need more? XW replied, "No, more would be too obvious".
TS and XW's relationship has always been sibling like since the beginning of the drama, so seeing them being intimate in the last 5 mins of this drama was a bit weird. They always refer to each other as brother/sister so it was shocking to hear TS say "She is my lover". It hasn't quite hit me yet.
I definitely want a season 2 but realistically speaking, it would be difficult to recast the same crew. Even if one character is replaced, it's a flop imo. Regardless I really enjoyed this drama!
