The ending is rare and I mean it in the best way, I loved it! Usually C-drama, even some K-drama endings feel rushed or incomplete. This story had it's flaws but I feel the ending made up for it so I rate it 8.5/10. I feel complete after finishing this drama. Finally got a satisfying ending, especially lately I feel endings of other dramas are not so great.
I also think that the old lady is creepy. But well, the fact is that both HJW and SHJ remember their past lifes,…
How can they both die and reincarnate so quickly though? If SHJ died when the old lady was a child, that can make sense. What about HJW though? Why didn't he age or he died too? I'm confused, lol. I'm kinda slow when it comes to these kind of dramas where I'm 1/4 invested and 3/4 not.
The only reason I gave it a 6/10 is because I like the FL. I don't think the FL was the problem here but more LMH, his acting has gone way down since City Hunter. He is very good looking and should stick to modeling (kidding but not, don't attack me). His facial expressions in this drama was like watching a blank piece of paper, no emotions, he looked fake esp showing affection. I feel KGE did her best with the given script. Just my thoughts. The story was poorly written, it wasn't as complicated as the writer try to make it, it was just messily put together.
I would have liked this drama to keep going, but it actually ended where it was intended. Otherwise, we'd be looking…
I feel another 6 episodes would be enough to complete the story, tie up loose ends and watch the bad guy get punished.
Mr. Sunshine is definitely one of my favorite drama. It was beautifully tragic and meaningful, haven't seen another drama yet that compares to Mr. Sunshine. This drama hit me hard, so hard I can't bare to watch it again.
Can someone explain the part where he held on to him after he got shot..? On the last episode.... I’m so confused…
I think he felt somewhat remorseful after he killed him, because they showed flash back of when they got along as friends. I thought that part was weird, like that's all Daewongun got for all the nasty things he did to CJ, his friends, his son, the Queen and his country! That was the most unsatisfying part. I didn't like the ending honestly. They got their happy ending but many things were left on loose end which made me feel empty after the last episode.
The story is profound with deep friendships and connections. I loved the characters and their loyalty. The only dissatisfaction I have is with the ending, yes it was a happy ending but many questions were left hanging. Most importantly Daewongun didn't get what he deserved, would have loved to see some kind of consequence for his nasty actions. Yes he felt remorse and cried after seeing CJ's body but that wasn't enough to satisfied the grudge against this man. Also the queen and king's story were just left unfinished. I just feel half empty after finishing this drama.
Do you mean Yi Kang? Technically, he *is* just a prince. His sickly, (unseen) older brother is the emperor. Some…
One of my favorite C-drama is Story Of Yanxi Palace. I've re- watched that drama at least 4 times and still love it. The Story Of Hao Lan was good but not on my top list. I haven't seen Imperial Doctress yet. I'll have to check it out. Thank you.

So far the reviews aren't very good, and many people are left confused after the ending. Is this drama worth to start?
