Can I ask how would you do research? I'm asking in case I get more confused with the story. Is there a reference you use? I love this drama and would love to read the history behind it.

I'm currently on episode 6 and really enjoying the drama so far. I love the sneaky YX character, he's quite interesting in the drama. I have a feeling YX knows WB is a girl, just a thought. I love the main leads chemistry, they are so cute together. I'm enjoying this more than other dramas that's currently airing.

I think it would be less confusing if we actually see the real emperor Wen on the throne in the drama, instead of CP sitting up there all the time. This whole time I thought CP was the actual king and YX was next in line. So the convo between LX and his royal mother was about the real emperor dying and not CP?

One thing I noticed with the subs , sometimes their name changes which confuses me. YiKang/ChengPeng , YiXuan/Jing Ling. I'm a bit slow, sometimes I concentrate too much on the subs I miss a lot of the actual drama. They should stick to using one name for each character. I didn't even know YiKang and Cheng Peng are the same person. LOL, thank you.

Hmmm.... So you think the old lady was obsessed with someone else that looked like HJW in her school days? The photos she had in black and white all looked like him. Also the girl on the couch did look like SHJ.

I hope it will all be explained soon. I just wished more of their stories will play out instead of the bickering between the male leads. I know it's suppose to be funny somehow, but for me it ruins the drama.

That's how I felt while watching her review, nitpicking about the writers mistake here and there, but she also admitted to not watching the full 24 episodes. I didn't finish watching her Youtube speech.

I doubt the evil biatch is truly dead, evil never dies until the last min, only the good ones die too early. I'm not at that episode yet but I'm excited to see her fall off that cliff!

So CP isn't the actual king then? I understand the English subs can be lost in translation but didn't expect the story to be mixed up this bad. I heard there's another sickly brother who is the real emperor?

I completely missed this part. How come we never see the sickly emperor (oldest brother). When LX's mother was speaking to him, expecting CP would die soon, she said be prepared as soon as CP died he would be the next king.

I agree, LY will continue to be evil and alive well into the last episodes. I hope princess consort will remain pure hearted and kind, please don't turn her character evil! I know what's gonna happen in episode 29 and 30 and my heart is breaking.

My theory is HJW is an immortal and he's been trying to win her back in her last 3 lives. His memories of SHJ are vivid, but he can't tell her and that's part of his secret. The old lady recognizes HJW from high school and was in love with him, that's why she had all those photos of him and also pushing her daughter to marry him. I don't think SHJ could die and reincarnated so quickly in the same era as the old lady though. I don't think they both could die and return so quickly. That's the mystery or plot hole.

I am looking forward to that as well, hopefully they won't disappoint!

I wonder if the rumors are true. Even so he could show more affection toward his wife/true love in the drama. It makes him feel cold and distant. I can only hope their chemistry/marriage gets heated a bit more.

I wouldn't let my hubby do that to me, let alone a stranger. I guess the gesture is more romantic then reality, lol.
