One of things that bothers me with this drama is how Park Bo Young is consider ugly. They keep mentioning it.…
this does bother me too. and actually the girl who got the plastic surgery...is really not anything special. the unfortunate thing in this drama is that PBY's character is so damned annoying although a little less now than in the beginning.
I feel like I'm forcing myself to watch this drama. I love Park Bo Young and Ahn Hyo Seop but this drama is just…
i feel that way too and honesty, i feel like my eyes were hurting watching them kiss. I was cringing becuz of the lack of chemistry. Am still watching though in support of him as an up and coming actor.
Ok...made in 2003, set in 1986, was a worthwhile watch for me based on the subject matter alone...true crime.…
i remember seeing that in one or two other shows where they had to send stuff to the USA way back when. Am glad they have it at their disposal now! thanks for the link. I also didnt mind the ending, although i wasnt so sure I understood it so I had to read all the comments LOL...
Intense well-done movie except for one major thing - the constant and ever-increasing level of police brutality actually became tiring to watch. It was like it was the main character in the movie. Anyway, am glad I watched it. It felt very hitchcockian...more like a 1960's feel to it.
I liked the movie....sure kept me thinking. I have a couple of Q's though...dont read further if you want to avoid…
1. what role did the Jin Tae character really serve in this story? I feel like if u erased his whole part it wouldnt have made a difference. And I certainly didnt see the need for his sex scene. I am all for mature stuff, but again, it served no purpose that I can see. 2. i just want to make sure i absorbed this correctly, the old junk collector, since he was in the girl's phone, he also must had sex with her in the past. Right? Its not that relevant to how the whole ending played out but I was feeling sorry for his character but then I recalled that part. He sure didnt deserve what he got, but he wasnt just a nice old man.
Just catching up on some other works by the Cannes Palm d'Or winner Bong Joon-ho. This movie is a monster flick…
It really pissed me off that after alllllll thaaat, the daughter died and a character we had very little backstory or investment in (the boy) survived. Both of them should have survived IMO.
Just catching up on some other works by the Cannes Palm d'Or winner Bong Joon-ho. This movie is a monster flick crossed with quirky comedic lines. Its not my favorite genre...it was pretty good but I didnt like the ending.
agreed I prefer the previous one. I'm surprised it was even accepted the people in charge must have changed it…
am lookin fwd to seeing him is next role, although he is supporting actor. i guess when u are juggling so many, u cant be the lead in them all! https://kisskh.at/22348-zhao-ge
Boy, this sure was relevant for the times given the Burning Sun situation. Its scary to see this being done so matter of factly...and what interesting is that there is a team of incinerators just like what was described in the Burning Sun case....the cleaners.... Overall, this film is very stressful because you wanna reach out thru your screen and shake Young Jae to get him out of this mess early on. Pretty heavy movie with good actors and good acting....am surprised they chose these roles given the sensitivity of the subject. Finallly, I dont see this story as a BL saga at all. I'll leave it at that. You can watch and decide for yourself.
Good acting and overall good movie. It wasn't the most exciting nor did it keep me on my toes the whole time.…
Ditto. Since it was based on a true story, the fact that it wasnt compelling at times or seemed to go off on tangents becuz of the criminal's misinformation, made it as frustrating for the viewer as for the detective in the drama. I was glad I watched though and have to say JJH does a fine job of morphing into a psycho with possibly a high IQ. In the end, his perfect crime(s) werent so perfect.
