i'm intrigued by him in Legend of Hao Lan.....after he becomes the king, i find his role more interesting, enough to start looking up his other works.

seriously! i've now stopped watching jdramas until i see that there are subbed more than a couple eps and i can see the momentum of the subs being released has a timely pattern. and for this show in particular, it just seems so wrong to do this to a sakurada dori drama!

yeah, and they talked about in vitro but artificial insemination would have been the first course to explore....they sell at-home kits these days even.

I'm glad I watched so I could make up my own mind after seeing varying ratings fly by. This is supposedly based on a real life story, so it probably wouldn't make sense to say 'it had potential.' I think this would have been better served as a movie. It didn't really need 10 eps. I liked the actors and did enjoy watching them. In the end, though, it was 'just OK' for me because there were one too many things in this story that weren't realistic, were odd and/or didn't make sense. 6.5/10

Mikey, I liked it! I liked it! ;P I blew thru this fairly rapidly in binge-mode. It moves fast. I would like to have seen more about her life with the wolves and the backstory as to how she ended up as a little child with the wolves the first time she was found. I thought for sure we'd find out she was a princess after all and that would solve her marrying issue, etc etc.

I would like to have seen A LOT less scenes and/or shorter scenes when it came to that biotch she helped get into the palace who was full of hatred and revenge. I just could care less about her story and what it added to the story was basically nothing other than another pretty face that looked almost exactly like the female lead anyway.

I thought eddie peng's role was super...loved how he acted in it, loved the character and loved the script for his character. Kudos to the writer on that guy. And am relieved she ended up with him.
