its a good watch...! I really think so many of the actors are strong, including all 3 ML's. The 2nd lead in this really has been given some incredible scenes and performed them so well. I loved the guy with a mask recently in Siege in Fog too. Glad to see them giving time to that role too.

So, i wonder if his role in Ruyi's Royal Palace is a substantial one as the 5th son. I hope so...hope that they took advantage of this steaming actor's skills. The drama is such a slow-paced standard inner court musical chairs friction and so on that its honestly not that compelling to me. I will wait for Qu Chu Xiao to make his entrance into the drama... was otherwise considering dropping out of boredom.

I started reading it but stopped. They are just two different entities. The drama is a work of art where as the novel is 18+ erotica that doesn't do the drama justice IMO.

As a few others have mentioned in the comments here, the plot is really driven around her and her shadow's complex love story. While the prince is interested in her as well, he also knows of those two's feelings for each other. So, as the story unfolds, we do see the interaction from both these guys circling her, but ultimately the prince isn't gonna be the guy.

i wonder when it will start getting subbed. i don't see it out there yet.

He's exceptional in his acting and a pleasure to watch....keep watching...time will tell.

thanks so much. and thx for all the work you put into Siege in Fog. I actually loved that show. I watched at your site until Viki went nuts and started rapid-fire pouring out the eps! LOL Anyway, some thought draggy but really it was probably becuz of how highly political-based it was. I liked that part too. I didn't like the end, of course, but c'est la vie!
