Honestly, this is the best BL drama I came across. The acting on point the story heart-warming and heart-breaking. The soundtrack OMFG perfect. The intimate scenes so comfy between the actors no awkwardness. I have totally fallen in love with Xiang Hao Ting. I have been watching Asian dramas for a long time and not once I ended up with the thought I wish for a boyfriend like the main guy well this was my first. I don't care much for the second couple, to be honest hhh but the main couple stole my heart Xiang Hao Ting playfulness and extroversion paired with Yu Xi Gu gentle nature and introversion did wonder. I saw a lot of people complain about the idea but honestly, this is what made the story amazing for. While I also hate unnecessary sadness this one fit right in.
*SPOILERS*
For those who say the ending was unfair like many before have said the title should be a warning on its own. Also, I liked this ending because it is a reminder of how much we take the lives of those who are close to us for granted thinking they are gonna stay with us until we grow old so we forget to make use of each day we are blessed to share with them. and when you think about it Yu Xi Gu got to experience love, friendship, and belonging before he went away something he didn't all those years he was focused on studying. Xiang Hao Ting got to learn motivation and how life is cruel which helped him mature and you can see at the end he even changed his treatment toward his sister.
Overall best BL I came across and I wish they would do more like these.

Title The Guest Spoiler
I am totally in love with Yoon Hwa Pyung. Definitely putting on my husband list from Kdrama. the guy is hot his powers are hot and when he is using them he is hotter.
I have soooooo many questions about him: why do ghosts keep saying he is one of them and everyone who comes closer to him will die? who ever park il do posses ends up killing people but we never saw Hwa Pyung kill his mother or cause his grandma to commit suicide? Hwa Pyung doesn't see spirits but he saw park il do almost clearly in episode 3 and he was only paralyzed by contrast with the shaman who puked blood and the priest who had a bloody nose why? when the ghost said bout his dearest will die puking blood and a knife to the neck i think it is not the grandfather but the shaman he always drag along cause he saw himself dead twice now and he puked blood.

NO i'm not shipping Matthew & Hwa Pyung already...NO i'm not !!!
don't feel hopeless if anything ocn is a master of bromaces (ironically usually sucks in romance ????). This duo kinda remind me of the two guy in children of a lesser God which i shipped too ????

i felt sad they didn't explore the supernatural side of the story. I really loved the drama though. I missed these type of fluffy super cute dramas. totally hate the ending, unless there is a season 2

i looved this drama so much. Unlike most comment i've seen i think it deserves the rating it got. I dnt hate the ending because you can see it the way u wnt (he didn't wake up it was a dream within a dream or what depression feels like and why it drives its patients to suicide). As expected from OCN it delivers a great crime show (to be honest before i discovered this channel i didn't think kdramas can have great crime shows that are not centered around romance) however it is a stingy channel when it comes to romance it only gives hints. Also if in 1988 it was all a dream or his subconscious creating a world to make sense of is memories how come everything he saw there did happen back in 1988? i still find this intriguing. Anyways I still hope for a season 2 .
