Title Our Movie
The rain scene at the end was really over the top. I feel like this drama is taking itself way too seriously, and it ends up coming across as corny and forced. It's making the female lead seem irrational and yes, I get that she's lived a sheltered life in hospitals with an overprotective father, and she only has a year left, so she's trying to live freely without letting the illness define her. But as others have pointed out, she made a professional commitment, and people’s livelihoods are riding on her finishing the film. I really hope the writers intended for the rain scene and her behavior to feel awkward or exaggerated, as a setup for eventual character growth. Because right now, the whole “dying manic pixie dream girl” trope just isn’t working. Like I get that i'ts a melodrama but even melodramas need emotional logic
