I just watched it over at dramanice with subs. It is explicit, but it serves a purpose. It easily deserves a rating of 8+ and if it's dropped below that, it's due to down voting over some difficult to watch scenes and explicit sex scenes. This movie seeks to explore not only human sexuality, but the disconnection from humanity that so much of today's youth experiences. We don't know how to connect, where to begin. For some, sexual encounters are the ultimate disconnect we seek, for some it's the point of connection. This movie seeks to explore meaningless sexual encounters, what are they really? What motivates people's sexual needs, what do people seek from sex?
The lead isn't being coerced or forced, he gets something out of each and every encounter in this movie.
The fragility and complexity of the human mind, of human sexuality. We're all frail, little bit broken, complex and with certainty, far from ''boring''.
I want to watch this and see it it could redeem ''15 years waiting for migratory birds'' for me. The premise is similar, the leading man is the same. I'm hoping to mend a fraction of my heart here.
When i see what drama's are ranked higher here.. people got no taste
A lot of the time, drama here is rated by if the ending was tragic or happy. The amount of times I've seen people say dramas are crap, just because things didn't end well.
Some people here complain about the bad CGI. It might not have the best CGI and it's definitely not a masterpiece…
I enjoy Oriental Odyssey, for what it's meant to be. If people want higher quality production and cinematography, try Ever Night on the days Odyssey doesn't release eps.
You could say, this is the story of how the 13th star sign sacrificed everything, for the other 12. The 13th sign returned to the stars, and that's why we only have 12 signs in the Zodiac.
This drama had unexpected depth, the main actress acts out of her pants, in the final episode when she's grieving at the bar. That was just purely thespian, who knew THAT was in her?
I didn't feel the end was rushed, know what, it felt like the final 3 eps were written first and the author struggled a little with the story leading up to that. You don't have a race of people with THAT ability and don't utilize it to the full. There are legends of a 13th sign. I do believe this story was meant to be the ''untold'' story of the 13th star sign, and why it faded from memory.
I'm a big fan of this genre, the historical romance comedy type, like Go Princess Go, Oh My General, Mengfei Comes Across and such. You will only see a handful which have real quality here and there. You'll find that Oh My Emperors charm, lay in the in-between, the little moments that feel very genuine, not the spectacular scenes, but the sincere moments of these characters acting perfectly ordinary.
Unpopular opinion, I suppose, but I LOVED the last 3 eps. Season 2 had some really solid episodes. The other lovers in the drama were very satisfactory. Second lead syndrome never went away, but such is life.

I think this is a little weird line of thinking, he's basically her father, raised her since an infant.
First ep 12 special was subbed before ep 12, now character introductions are subbed over ep 13 and 14.
