He was meant to be close to the real Rong Le before her suicide, but we don't even get to see the real Rong Le's face.
There are no scenes with Rong Qi and the real Rong Le, No mourning scenes or tomb scenes either, he is also too comfortable, using his so called favourite dead sister's name, to refer to his lover Qin man.
Yes, he was forced to call her Rong Le, but he should've only used it officially or when there are important witnesses.
He could've easily given her a nickname, or used her undercover identity name Man Yao most of the time.
But he was way too comfortable calling her Rong Le, when no one was there, even in the thoughts in his head he called her Rong Le and himself her royal brother.
During the birth, he is in the room sitting on her bed and holding her hand. In those times, even the actual husband would be outside the room.
During the birth, he calls her Rong Le and then Man'er. Why would you use your dead sister's name with your lover, in a secluded hut in the woods with no witnesses during her giving birth?
After having the baby, when the midwife says who's going to name him? Qin Man ( Rong Le) says let his father name him, and the only man in the room is Rong Qi.

Hunting scene is the best, where Prince Li says he has never known the taste of regret in his entire life).

Rong qi (Leo Yunxi) is Rong Le's lover.
After Rong Le develops amnesia, he is forced to take on the identity of her brother,
and so in the future you see heavy incest appearing vibes and romance
while they call each other brother and sister.
But in the drama, many times he refers to himself as her brother in his internal thoughts,
when there was no need, as no one can hear inside your head.
Many people say it would've given away the plot, that he's not her brother,
but he could've used I instead of brother,
e.g. I miss you, instead of brother misses you, and it wouldn't of given away the plot.
He is a young emperor with no empress, wives or love interest.
There are strong rumours that even spread to neighbouring kingdoms,
that the emperor is very fond of his sister.
Personal servant and maid also appear to ship them,
and there are comments from others that hint to their incestuous relationship.
There are also many other scenes and behaviours
that point to this being a censored incest drama,
that the maker of the fan edit movie brought to the surface,
which is what makes this movie so real.
Right at the end of the drama, they reveal he is not her brother after tragically killing him off,
but the 5 mins end reveal felt like a fake forced add on scene,

But in mandarin Chinese he is actually saying
huang shung (Royal brother) is very happy.
He is calling himself her royal brother when there is no need to do that,
He is alone, there are no witnesses, even the so called Qin man with amnesia is asleep.
He feels safe enough to make her unconscious, but not secure enough to call himself anything but her brother?
To refer to himself, he could've used Rong Qi, I or this majesty,
but he calls himself her Royal brother, when it's just him alone with her sleeping in his arms.
He is a young emperor with no empress or wives.

When she wakes up with Amnesia, 1st thing he calls her is Rong Le not Qin man.
Or if they didn't want to reveal the plot,
He could've said it's me, Rong Qi.
Why call her Rong Le 1st from the start then look so shocked that Qin man doesn't remember being Rong Le?
He was meant to be close to the real Rong Le before her suicide,
but we don't even get to see the real Rong Le's face.
There are no scenes with Rong Qi and the real Rong Le,
No mourning scenes or tomb scenes either,
he is also too comfortable, using his so called favourite dead sister's name, to refer to his lover Qin man.
Yes, he was forced to call her Rong Le, but
he should've only used it officially or when there are important witnesses.
He could've easily given her a nickname, or used her undercover identity name Man Yao most of the time.
But he was way too comfortable calling her Rong Le,
when no one was there,
even in the thoughts in his head he called her Rong Le and himself her royal brother.
During the birth, he is in the room sitting on her bed and holding her hand.
In those times, even the actual husband would be outside the room.
During the birth, he calls her Rong Le and then Man'er.
Why would you use your dead sister's name with your lover,
in a secluded hut in the woods with no witnesses during her giving birth?
After having the baby, when the midwife says who's going to name him?
Qin Man ( Rong Le) says let his father name him, and the only man in the room is Rong Qi.
Why did the writers have her say that with only Rong Qi in the room?
She could've easily said, we'll name him later.
When she leaves to go to Northern Lin, there was no need for her to dress up in the bridal Red outfit,
as she was only going for an engagement and she even changed on the way to a white outfit before entering Northern Lin.
In the red bridal outfit, she steps out with Rong Qi holding her hand and they walk down like a couple, emperor and empress, while he's meant to be her so called brother.
Clearly, the writer wanted some kind of a wedding scene here between Rong Qi and Rong Le.
There are also many other scenes and behaviours
that point to this being a censored incest drama,

which is what makes this movie so real.

(Other things I loved about the Fan movie -
Arrogant Prince Li is shown to have 1 sided love, and they never get together.
This is how Li should've ended up, even general Fu deserved her more after Rong Qi, not prince Li.
Love the foreshadowing in the chess playing scene, where Prince Li says the meaning of his name is, he will be left with nothing.
Hunting scene is the best, where Prince Li says he has never known the taste of regret in his entire life).
Incest or forbidden love fans should watch this beautiful fan edit movie.
