It was clearly told there that they first met when Vlad mistakenly knocked at Karl's apartment and Vlad thought Karl was someone else so he kissed him. They then met again at the University Film org where Vlad is an upperclassman. Clearly, they made changes to the story to adapt to filming restrictions in the PH.

What was posted in Wattpad is way different from the series. I guess they had to change it because of restrictions in filming

I don't mind the story, I'm just so distracted with Karl's makeup. He's a good looking guy, why did they put too much makeup on him? He's at home in his lounge clothes and still wearing full on make up.
