I laughed out loud when the teachers were talking about the difference in generations. If ripping off Heartstopper was an Olympic sports this show would get 10s across the board. 🤣
I'll admit I only started watching this because I think Ohm is one of the best young Thai actors but this plot is too weak to keep me interested. Ohm and Leng have potential as a couple but otherwise can't recommend.
Well, I ended up spending $2.99 to watch season 4 on iQiyi so I could get some closure but man I didn't think I'd actually find it a waste of money but here we are.
I get that not everyone likes drama but the way season 4 was scaled back was frankly ridiculous. Felt more like an advertisement from the Japanese board of tourism. If they're seriously continuing this show then I'll stop here. They're genuinely good actors and they can handle more than this. Season 1 and 2 were not story heavy and yet there was enough for the actors to work it into something dramatic.
This was an okay show that lacked any real drama but I appreciate it because this genre lacks good hugging scenes and this show actually delivers on that.
This show has made me cry every episode so far. My spouse is HoH and I can recognize them in the main character. Very well done show with great acting.
Mark is a funny guy, nice to see him in a lead role. Don't know this Ohm guy but he seems cute. The pilot wasn't particularly funny and dentists give me anxiety so I have no idea if I'll watch it. P'Aof is great tho so who knows.
I like that this story felt a bit more authentic when it comes to the feelings of uncertainty and doubt that often come with having same sex intimacy, especially when you're young. That scene right after the first intimate scene felt very familiar to me, I just wish the story had taken it further and explored their feelings at that time rather than waste so much screen time on things that didn't matter much.
My struggle with BL as a genre as a queer man is that it's often played too safe and is kept unrealistic in order to portray a fantasy and the BLs I value are the ones that can lean more into the authentic experience. This show got pretty close but was still too safe and sacharine especially at the end.
That scene in the karaoke club was so ridiculous that it soured me on the whole thing. Even if you're a shy guy you wouldn't let yourself be touched like that especially in front of others. BL writers writing men like they're teenage girls is getting tired. The main character is completely unlikeable to me and the love interest isn't much better.
Picked this up randomly without any knowledge of the show and I kind of regret doing so. Having to wait a week in between episodes is awful when the story is very tense and the chemistry is great. Now I can't decide if I should watch once a week or just binge it at the end!
This is one of those weird shows where I'm looking forward to the next episode while also playing a lot of scenes at double speed because they're so bloody boring, the scenes with the mom especially.

Did the cheating plot line from S3 get resolved? They kind of left it in a weird spot.

I just hope it can keep this pace up for the whole 12 episodes because so far it's great.
