Was I the only one reminded of Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo? I mean the only difference is that this is a comedy and (SPOILER!!!!) has a happy ending.. okay, maybe more differences but those are details

one of the scenes in the last episode reminded me of The Lion king :D

When I first watched it like half a year ago, after I finished, I thought meh, nothing special. Now every time I see a poster I get this warm feeling, so I get it - it's warm and fuzzy and fluffy and cute, the definition of feel good drama 🤗

Currently on episode 20 and wondering why there is a notion that rescue and medical stuff is realistic :D

It might be a case of guilty pleasure 😂 same for me with Thai BL dramas - they're notoriously awful, but I still get an itch to watch it sometimes 😂

The beginning was kinda boring for me, but then it got interesting. However, one plot line which included a certain quite strict side character threw me. I avoided it for like a good 10-15 episodes telling myself that I was imagining things, until it was revealed in the episode before the last one. I was like WHAT? DUDE! NOOOOOOOOO I LIKE YOU, DOOOON.T 😩After I still hoped, that it's just a plot and I will get "haa... I lied" alas in vain... 🙄😂 It was so unnecessary...

I completely understand where you are coming from. As I myself was a bit torn which story I liked more in the end I decided not to chose as they were different. Intelectualy, I wanted to say I liked Sky and Prapai story better, there was a more emotional journey and there was growth for both characters. For my guilty pleasure and giddy side I wanted to say Payu and Rain, because as you mentioned - the chemistry was OFF THE CHARTS and more exciting for me overall. So yeah, I totally get you.
As you liked Prapai and Sky, have you watched Between us? I think you would enjoy it :)

to be honest, I think something similar could be said about Prapai and Sky. They do not have the same dynamics as Payu and Rain, however they still have dynamics. At first in their story you could see that Prapai was trying to take the lead and as he saw Sky as unwilling participant to give all the power, the dynamics switched a bit. in the end I think their dynamic was not as distinguished as Payu and Rain, and they were more like swiches, o more like dom/sub when outwardly dom has the power but in reality dom is at his subs mercy (I am referring to special episode here).
All in all, this series was quite heavy in BDSM and kink department 😂 something I did not expect at all for my first BL drama 🤣

Agree. I am curently on episode 10 of 2season! and still waiting for it to become exciting or interesting. You mentioned that while you were watching you would say I will watch next episode tomorrow if I have time, well for me it was a bit like, lets watch next episode, maybe it will be better. I mean I watched almost two seasons and still trying to unterstand what's the hook 😂 could have droped it but I guess I'll just finish it. And forget immediately after. 9.1 rating is definitely too high.

hi, sorry for the late response, I saw that you have got a response, but mine would be this: it seemed that their were building towards something, but their left and open ending with quite a few loose ends, which would be fine if there would be season 2, but the isn't and never will be. so you will be left with a list of questions. if we are talking storywise you get like 1/3, maybe half if I am being generous, of the story and the rest is mystery 🙂 if yous still decided to watch, please let me know what you think, I would love to know your opinion 😁

I do not remember when I laughed so much while watching any kind of tv series. It's easy, absurd (most of the time) but definitely enjoyable, and at the same it touches some aspect of being an actor/idol life and their managers.

Oh, the drama in this one. It really should be one of the classic C-dramas by now. I remember I was sobbing at one point. SOBBING. 10/10
And I got second lead syndrome from this one as well 😩

Feng Jiu and Dong Hua story in this one is different as when they created this one they did not have the rights to the original one yet. There are some similarities, but I recommend watching as the vibe is completely different. I personally liked this story line more :)

For me it was somewhere between 8 and 8.5. It was definitely fluffy, a lot lighter than eternal love (aka 10 miles of peach blossom), at times ridiculous but entertaining nonetheless.

the best part of this drama was the main leads chemistry. That's it.

This was my first C drama and it completely broke my trust in them. (I watched some more and they have been redeamed since). the ending was the worst, it's been like 3 years and I am still frustrated.
