I'm adoring the crazy twist into psycho bitch pretend land for both fake mum and Han So Ra. Clever, very clever writing indeed. After all, what CEO of a the biggest conglomerate business in South Korea would fall in love with a psycho bitch, irrespective of whether she was pretty, intelligent, dressed off the scale amazing and was truly mind blowing in bed?! Not your husband hey Han So Ra, so nothing to worry about in your mind? Me thinks not, he'll be all over that crazy shit and adore her even more. He's the same just magnificently buried and hidden.
I actually felt empathy for Han So Ra for the first time in this series. Shit, she had to witness her mother go into the 'school room' to be beaten by her father and he wanted to do exactly the same to her. Why? Because he sees her as utterly worthless to his money and power game. I'm so, so looking forward to the day he hopefully ends up in prison for his remaining lifetime.
I'm not surprised by the confession from Seo Eun Pyung. I felt it was coming from the last two episodes and Han So Ra did say the same to her. However, I'm still in the firm belief that she sees him as her 'friendship soulmate', her rock, her one true person in life to trust and is truly in love with her 'love soulmate' the CEO.
I actually find myself nervous for tomorrow night! Bring it on!! What utter shit will she drop next, apart from telling him she won't be his mistress.
I think the biggest problem of the whole season is how they managed to make Ji Woo such an unlikable character.…
You're so right. They've taken the lovely introverted aspects of his character from S1 and literally turned him into an emotionless, harsh, zombie for 8 episodes. What the fuck was the point of the kiss if they weren't going to move the relationship on in the story? The writing is just utter shit!
Honestly, WTAF is going on with this drama? It's just 8 episodes of utterly depressing viewing! How can a writer ruin what was a seriously amazing season 1? This is just all over the place. The script is beyond complex and deep. 8 episodes of I love you, but I'm in no way worthy of your love and I know you did nothing wrong. Utter bullshit.
Eight episodes of pure angst with no breakthrough. What was the point of the kiss? Surely this was the point to move the relationship into reconciliation? When do the writers plan for Han Ji Woo to step up and actually have his man's back? Oh right, the last two episodes. #ShakesHead. It's now become annoying viewing for me and so disappointing. The point of a drama is to be entertaining. This is just not entertaining viewing just a huge, depressing fuck up! This was never a drama that needed to be so complex. The ridiculous amount of screen time spent on Han Ji Woo's first relationship is beyond annoying. I'm here for BL not hetro.
I feel like I'm in the disappointing bubble that is Check Out. So much expectation and ridiculous, poor delivery.
S2 will be forgettable for me. I'll never re-watch it. However, I have re-watched S1 at least 10 times.
soooooo true!!! I love the birthday scene too, I liked it bc it was such an unexpected scene yk?? Like you watch…
So agree. I honestly never know what’s going to happen next. I just really can’t read her mind and indeed darkness. Each episode continues to surprise me as how far she’ll go. And the writing is just so cunning, my brain finds it difficult to go to such areas.
Damn. Damn. Ep 8. This drama continues to blow my mind, each episode just gets better and better. Seriously, I hope I never ever encounter a human such as Kim Sun Bin in my lifetime as I'd be utterly terrified. She personifies every trait of a sociopath brilliantly. Damn that woman is driven, relentless, bold, confident, cunning, manipulative and seriously fearless.
I loved the scene at Han So Ra's daughter's birthday party when Kim Sun Bin told her she was the mistress - you could feel the fear in Han So Ra's eyes that she'd actually met her match and so much more. Brilliant. This writer blows my mind - brilliant storytelling thus far! Keep it coming:-)
Hahaha! You guys do make me laugh! Why is the Asian culture so bloody obsessed about age gaps? Love is love people. Gay. Straight. Bi. Age. Other cultures don't give a shit. You need to grow up and get over it. It's laughable.
Maybe you haven't seen the ending of the kissing his scars scene she gave such a cold hearted expression at the…
I totally agree, that’s why I said in my comment below that she continues to confuse me to hell. It was like when they were kissing behind the curtain - her eyes were wide open and cold. This drama continues to be a massive head fuck but I love it.
Yes, agree. I think they could be really each other match... I hope they'll be lovers not enemies at some point.…
Possibly. However, my experience of K-dramas, and especially involving rich bad guys is that they usually get off with a 'hand-slap' at most! Unbelievable.
However, you're so spot on La El is rocking it big time!
