I didn't think it worked in Cutie Pie, although I agree with you on the ratio.
You see I did. I really felt Zee's character as Kilen, whilst I don't with Kamol in its entirety. There are essences of what he's looking to portray but not enough for me. It also doesn't help that the wardrobe department has done an utterly shit job in dressing Kamol as a very poor replica of a billionaire mafia boss and Kim as an office worker. Makes me think of the seriously, seriously bad wardrobe in The Tuxedo against what the script also wanted to portray.
I really enjoyed EP3 . I think it redeemed itself massively from the dire EP 1 and slightly better EP 2. However, have to say Kamol's acting and facial expressions seem to yearn to mirror Zee's in Cutie Pie, but it really doesn't quite work for me. I think Zee nailed it - the amused, knowing. smirking looks, glances, desire, sexiness and outright lust for his partner. But with Yoon, although I think he's really invested in his delivery and the script, I just don't think he quite yet brings that level of believability to his acting and the story.
Also, the writing of Kim's character is just so, so unbelievable. Didn't Kamol's bodyguard say he was the owner of a business, so a CEO. Whilst Gagaoolala portrays him as an office worker, which is it? Maybe I've read too many Wattpad dramas around gay, fierce, dominant, arrogant CEO's, all of which Kim isn't - indeed quite the opposite. Didn't he also say in this episode that he'd gone a day without thinking about Day, but then ends up calling him - just lazy writing for me to get the ole trope narrative firmly in. Also, Day said he was in love, yet he still continues to have no self esteem or indeed hearing!
Anyway, I find myself invested for Ep 4, 1,000,000 times more than the travesty that is Check Out.
They could have worked the product placement more into the story though. For example his most trusted guard 'forces'…

Do you know what, somethings keep playing at the back of my mind in terms of this being her 'come back drama'. 1. I don't think she wants to be aligned with a younger man for her first comeback role in a year. I think she knows the netizens would be all over her if they showcased serious chemistry, hence why she chose an older man. 2. Why would the writers take us on such a journey of two similar 'twin' souls with huge and similar levels of despair in their past lives for them not to be together - it seems far too cruel to my thinking when you consider the majority of hers and pretty much all of his life was totally cruel and fucked up! 3. The instrument - they both love. 4. The genre of music - they both love. 5. The simple, homely life - they both love. 5. Her fathers words: "follow your heart".

Fucking hell! I can honestly say from It's OK not to be OK, to Eve, Seo Yea Ji just has me utterly mesmerised by her acting. I am indeed captivated by this drama. Please writers, don't fuck up!!
Ra El is always one step scarily, scarily ahead, like when she picked up Bo Ram, her daughter from kindergarten, she'd already guessed So Ra's next move to hold her very own daughter hostage against her father and ensured she was present to showcase her dominance and his protection for her. #Shivers
Loved the narrative and stare-off between Kang Yoon Gyeom and Eun Pyung at the safe house - they so realise they're at war to claim the heart of their chosen woman. Although, from the narrative Eun Pyung is feeling oh so threatened and on the back foot me thinks.
Loved the back story with her pa and the explanation into her name, meaning deity and not having any ill intentions against others. Ultimately, telling her to follow her heart. Will she? I think so, after all, she's doing all this crazy bat ass shit because of the love she has for her parents, why would she ignore her fathers wise words? However, oh will she suffer, I feel repentance is indeed close and especially as she finally shed tears when Kang Yoon Gyeom played their favourite instrument, what I've deemed, 'the' instrument for broken souls.
I find myself confused by the Cosmos flowers, how did Kang Yoon Gyeom quote word for word, 'looking around the globe for the flowers' - exactly what her father said? Bloody beyond cheesy if just a coincidence don't you think?

Damn. 4 episodes in and I find myself truly astounded by how very, very bad this is. Nine and Daonuea nailed EP 0 in their acting, and in this one, they are just beyond terrible, and we have to endure this shit for 1 hour 10 mins. The sex scene in 0 was memorable, in this it’s just beyond terrible. How? Why? Did it go so, so wrong? A travesty to be true! Whoever wrote and directed this series, did it with zero thought, love, passion or attention. For me, it’s just all about the money. It’s that shit, I really hope they don’t cash in.
