tbh, i wished Long Wei'er to be the Female Lead and main love interest to Li Xuan instead

i already foreseen this drama going downhill, because the screenwriter and director completely focusing too much on the romance plotline with Yun Shan's Romance plot which is to me were unnecessary long, focusing too much on the Female Lead Su Youlian and the unnecessary character of Yu Fengmu (seriously man this guy have WAY more screen times than Li Xuan) and completely ignored the main plot which is focusing on Li Xuan, the Protagonist of the story and it's about him finding his actual identity and his mother's death as well as exploring his character development where he has to decide which side he have to take, the Demon side or the Human Side.

they're from the same time period, so that's plausible

i rathered want the screenwriter to focusing more on the main plot line rather than unnecessary romance plotline, i meant it's only have 28 episode so just go straight to main plot line with that much episode, we can spend 2 or 3 episode as filler episode and then went back to the main plot episode without wasting time.

i'm more interested in Long Wei'er character than Yu Fengmu character. what is the purpose of Yu Fengmu? he's just a second lead who have unrequited love toward Su Youlian and nothing more and the writer seen to have focus way too much on this guy where they should have focusing more on Li Xuan instead and that's what pissed me off. Li Xuan is the protagonist and he should had more screen times and more on his backstories be explored rather than being sidelined by Yu Fengmu's screen times. For Yun Shan's romance storylines, i mean their romance is cute but they took way too much screentime where that screen times should've been focusing on the Protagonist Li Xuan instead.

i totally agreed, they should've just focus on the importance point of plot aspect rather than waste time focusing too much on romance especially Yu Fengmu, i want Li Xuan's character to become more mature, level headed and wiser with character development, i want his backstories to be more explored, not just beginning to explored with only 10 episode left.

so i check the cast list and i see Tiffany Tang would made an appearance as Li Wei Young, is that true?

i meant only 10 episode left and the Protagonist's backstories had not explored yet since the majority of the drama focusing too much on Su Youlian's backstories and Yu Fengmu's character as well as unnecessary love triangle. i don't think it had time for the protagonist backstory, they should've have explored the protagonist Li Xuan's backstories since episode 13 about him escape the capital with the female lead and friend, later goes find that guy name Bai Xiaosheng or whatever his names is and later discovering his actual identity as half-human and half-demon and his relationship to the dragon king since Li Xuan's mother is the dragon king's sister i presume. it just too much to cram with just 10 episode left and not to forget about Long Wei'er backstories as well.

or we may get a season 2 of Dance of the Sky Empire

it's hard sometime, but i enjoyed both of the drama

everyone have their own ways, for me i preferred my rating as an overall score to the drama i watched

what?......anyway, i watched this drama because there isn't new drama to watched atm, the other Chinese drama i watched is The Song of Glory and they released on the same day as Dance of the Sky Empire, which is tiring but i would still watched it

isn't this drama supposed to focus on Li Xuan and his quest to find out the truth of his mother's death and his actual identity? and why do it focus too much on Su Youlian's backstory and we got so little of Li Xuan backstory.

We only got to see Li Xuan's backstory in the first half of episode 1 when he was a child and little glance here and there and the rest of the story is basically focusing too much on Su Youlian. Seriously man, Yu Fengmu character is so unnecessary and the drama was spending too much on his character and spend so little on the protagonist himself.

i think they keep breaking up because Youlian's master keep interfering with their relationship. seriously man, why wait in that pocket dimension and do nothing and if she can't do it, do it yourself

and beside that the second "prince" Long Wei'er already have feeling for Li Xuan

it's stupid. in the west, nobody seem to care about Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington playing Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen and they both played characters whose 7 years younger than their ages.

i predicting that in the future she would become Chinese A-List Actor and on the same level as Zhao Liying, Yang Mi, Liu Yifei, Ni Ni, i might be wrong, i don't know

i'll wait until the drama finished and rate later
