i really like the ending portion of Episode 17 and its broke me as well. i really like how Wu Shiguang actually confront her about her choice and comforted her and telling her that he is here with her and always by her side no matter and they will going through this together and i love how Wu Wanyang initially about to carrying everything on her own decide to broke down in tear when Wu Shiguang confide in her.

i think the Fox Queen is not who she think she is. perhaps the Real Fox Queen died and the one that has been ruling Formless Moon is the imposter who is Jiu Ying but i'm not sure either let's just continue to watch the drama and see who is the real identity of Nuwa / Fox Queen is.

i think Di Zhu was manipulated by her pet snake (Xiao Jiu) who is in actuality Jiu Ying, the King of all Demon and the main antagonist of this story. Jiu Ying obsessed with Di Zhu.

regarding Nu Wa. the Real Nu Wa is dead long ago. the current Nu Wa is fake and Jiu Ying currently impersonated Nu Wa. Lu Wuyi is an artificial being created from the remain of the Nine Tails Foxes, she was given a false memories and the the likeness of Di Zhu. The Current Fox Queen is not who she think she is. she is properly Jiu Ying in disguised.
