how it's not homophobic? easy, because the gender of his partner was never part of the issue. jes has already said on tv that he has NEVER played explicit scenes in his 12 year career and coming from the conservative lakorn genre (thai soap operas which are mainly aired daytime) where they started allowing kisses not too long ago (and forget sex scenes - those are non existent), he's just simply not used to it and like in most kdramas, closed mouthed kisses are the norm and that’s whay we see him doing that. It’s very normal to get nervous when having to get compleltly naked, everything hanging bare, simulating intimate acts and filming explicit scenes you've never done before in front of crew, with someone you barely know, to be streamed worldwide, and like jes clarified, it was late and everyone was tired and he didn't want to slow the shooting down. everyone has different tolerances and even bible said he drank a bit to relax for the kinnporsche nc. it’s not as deep as ppl make it and i'm tired of these complete lies and attempted character assassination from bitter haters. Jes is well loved by the queer community in thailand, voted as the community's fave actor last year. he always goes on shows with queer, kathoey hosts, interacts well, is fun and lively, has for years ago openly supported the queer community, his best friend since childhood (also an actor) is a openly gay man, he is close with mew and even said in an interview that he tried to convince mew to bring his significant other (tul) to their vacay and he was personally chosen by a queer group of performers to be their "male lead" in their MV (coming out soon). the only cooked ppl out here are the ppl vehemently trying to frame someone they don't know as homophobic in the name of a disgraced man who actually is proven to be homophobic, xenophobic, colorist, misogynistic, and abuser, liar, busybody and everything mad under the son. like, move on and let us enjoy our show in peace.

how did discussing acted out sex scenes in media and YOU as a viewer personally not finding them sexy and me stating sex scenes don't always have to appear sexy to the viewer, lead to you stating that you and your partner feel very sexy during the act...? I fail to see the correlation, but good for you, i guess 😂 What you feel in your personal life and what viewers feel looking in on a scene are two different things... I also fail to see where you, regardless of the actor's talent and delivery, interpreted that the characters and their partners don't find the other sexy when they keep coming back to each other, fantasize about each other etc

anyway, I personally don't think sex scenes in media have to be titillating, but if you felt the actors weren't good/didn't deliver, that is a legitimate opinion but a different matter imo.

why does a show about sex have to be sexy, to you? this isnt corn, this is a show following characters and their journey of discovering their relationship with sex, kink and what makes them tick. Can only good kisses engage in sex? I don't watch series to be a judge on their supposed kissing skills - apart from the fact that I didn't see anything particularly wrong with it 😂

I think people aren't recognizing the "campy" nature of the show, which (to no surprise cuz the director is gay) reads very queer - a bit unhinged, doesn't take itself too seriously, theatrical, with hidden irony about life, but also raw and ugly. Some of the sex scenes were borderline weird, some made me really uncomfortable and some actually touched me and I think that's just a realistic way to portray sexuality, especially when it comes to kink. Most kink will look ridiculous and funny from the outside unless you're into it and "sexy" isn't the same to everyone. this is sexy to the characters which this show explores, not necessarily the viewers. like Zouey said to captain in the first ep, "you like to sniff underwear and I don't judge you". anyway, I'm interested to see where the story will take as as we'll get introduced to more of the sex workers and dive deeper into their stories.
