I disagree.

The ending is blah. It doesn't make me want to watch season 2 at all.

I think their chemistry would always have make me remember, but the blah ending makes it forgettable as I'm not invested anymore.

I think they should have ended series one after the dance and almost kiss.
(Like season 1 of Dawson's Creek)

Then started season two from there.

The ending has tarnished the whole season for me, (It's not ruined it like a high five or car accident: I'm looking at you 2GR and MODC) it's just made is sparkle less. I won't be rushing to watch season 2.

100% don't come out until you feel safe to do so.
It males me sad that it's 20 years since I was panicking about being outed amd very little has changed.

And yes, maybe this sends a message to homophobic parents: "look what you stand to lose."

But the mum could have lost her son, without him losing his life.
And in his afterlife he's still the repentant good son.
Our young people need to see strong characters that stand up for themselves.

I think them dying is them suffering.

The show is almost sending the message "you'll be free to love each other in death".

The kids in our community are already killing themselves without a romanticised interpretation.

It's so campy and funny.

It's like some one crossed a Thai BL with Spanish telenovela.

• So he lashes out at Jim because Jim hurts him without realising it.

It's painful to watch.

I'm not sure what the end game is, but I hope Ben gets to move on. To do that, he needs to sever ties with Jim.
