Yeahh trust me, I really fell for his acting as Bai Jue in Ancient Love Poetry, that was my first drama for him and I loved him ever since. Then came Falling into your smile it was so awesome. After that it slowly reduced... like none other drama of his were near to these two, to the point, I literally dropped watching Wonderland of Love even though he had his mischievous side in it.
But yeah, although he seems aloof and distant in this Moonlit Reunion as MZY it is better than many of his previous works tho.
Maybe, he understood her when he forced her to kill, he protected her the best he could only that he was lazy…
I saw a spoiler video where when Tingyan tries to get her memories back, that Shit Qianlv alters her memories like it was SJ trying to kill her and SQL was trying to save her. I'm scared now...

To think of all the low ratings, one hand it's antis work I get it, on the other hand, as you said most people don't have patience because you know people either want their identities to be revealed to each other soom and build their romance slowly or get them together soon and reveal their identities and make them accept slowly. But in this drama both are slow and steady, like they aren't rushing things and understanding each other in depth before giving themselves to each other. So it might not be the cup of tea for many people.
