I like it so far (EP 7). It's one of the few Filipino BLs that I haven't quit after an episode or two... but I…
Not that far myself, but Louise has a girlfriend, and has done since before the beginning of the series. Her and Shao aren't even in love or in a romantic relationship; they even said that to the priest, at the meeting. I know Louise is bisexual, and wants to have sex with Shao, but she also knows he was waiting for someone he loves, which she doesn't understand because she doesn't love her girlfriend (and vice versa).
I'm sure you know this anyway, just want to clarify for any one else reading. Plus, not really liking her stereotyped bisexual character; not a good kind of representation at all.
This is exactly the same as "Wedding Plan" by MAME. Enjoyed it though!!
The groom to be falls for the main car mechanic, at the garage that supplies cars for events, and vice versa. The bride to be is bisexual, and has a girlfriend, but they're not in love. One parent from each side is pushing hem into an arranged marriage. That's where the similarities end.
I really enjoyrd it, despite the ad reviews. Budget appeared to be large, and the singing was good, and he acting really was like a Disney musical (just not so exaggerated). It was funny, but not cringey, and the cast seemed to have a lot of fun filming; like Mikey and his family and friends groups, their characters acted naturally together, as well as the Prince, Elena and Angel - they got on well and their friendliness and double meaning jokes seemed real and not forced.
Only two things annoyed me...
Kevin: He cheated on Mikey, Mikey broke up with him, and Kevin disappeared for 3 months, came back, stalked, harassed, and repeatedly asked for forgiveness and a second chance. Mikey wasn't having any of it, which was is choice, but then Kevin sang this sad song about Mikey promising to always love and stay with him, and how Mikey broke his promises. I mean, Kevin cheated, got caught, then disappeared for 3 months, but stuck himself in the victim role.
Mikey: The Prince hid his real identity, paparazzi spilled the beans, Mikey had a meltdown 'cos he Prince lied to him. The Prince finally managed to meet him, risking compromising his safety, they said they loved each other, but Mikey was still angry at him for lying and broke up with him, and ran away. The Prince wrote him a heartfelt letter, redeclaring his love and wishing him the best, saying it was his own fault, apologised for everything, again...and Mikey tore the letter to shreds in anger. Later Mikey's mother explained how the Prince had to hide his identity, and that it was a matter of life and death, and Mikey was like, "I hope so". Like he hoped that was the real reason for lying!?! Jeez... Then he sang a sad song about how they both loved each other but that the Prince let him go; when in fact it was Mikey that told the Prince he was letting him go (because of the lying), before running away. Like, Mikey, you left him, and Mikey kept begging you not to leave, saying he loved and needed you, and repeatedly apologising.
So, those two things annoyed me, but other than that, I really enjoyed it.
I'm just about to start episode 11 of My Day, and figuring out what to watch next; even though I've figured out the order of the three series tied together... Actually, I've been trying to figure out where Ace went and why Sky got paired with someone else. I think I'll give this one a miss, or at least find a version without Sky/Win, as it mostly reminds me of Love By Chance 2; where Pete went AWOL, with no explanation, Ae spent the whole season crying, and I was just mostly sad and annoyed throughout. It just doesn't make sense that they wouldn't work out; I'd rather them be absent "together" than split up and partnered with someone else.
No english subs, with a lot of narration. Background noise and music was louder than the speech, so difficult to hear. Had a crappy ending for no reason.

I took it seriously, because there was no indication, in your comment, that you were joking. What's funny is how there's usually that one character that's been there for years, by the side of one of the mains, does nothing, and is then surprised when they repeatedly get rejected. Guy left, because he also never spoke up and said what he wanted business wise, and then was manipulating Peach. They got on well, but a shame he's a crappy person either way. I'd like to see him in a future role as a proper good guy.
What logic is that. You could say the same about Netflix and RomComs. It's not like all BL content made is Thai either. Such a daft observational "fact". Lol
But... Wasn't this out already in 2021 or 2022. I'm so confused with the director promoting or recycling old materials.…
This is set after Call it What You Want (S2) I believe. I just watched the trailer and it has a lot I've not seen before, but the Description here reads a little like CIWYW.
Peach, home wrecker and destroyer of worlds.Plus: sorry but I'm Team Guy through and through.
How is he a home wrecker when Shin has been single for years and was never even in a relationship before. He made it clear to the other guys that he didn't like them. Guy left, stole recipes, and manipulated Peach. Not that Peach should have kept it from Shin about going to hat other bakery with Guy, but he even said himself he was in he wrong and that when he was upset before Shin would come and apologise to him, and vice versa.
I have to respectfully disagree with this. From episode 1, you can already sense a very strong attraction between…
I don't know how people have missed the attraction between them, flirting from one side and the other accusing them of flirting. I'm only near the end of episode 3, and there's already been one misaimed lip kiss, that landed on the forehead, a cheek kiss and a good night kiss on the lips. One is in denial and resisting, but everyone else can see it and tells him repeatedly. There's no wooing, yet, but the feelings for each other are there, and were in their past life too. People complain when romance moves too quick too, but like you said, there's a lot going on; it's not like the rest is boring filler.
It doesn't seem slow to me at all though, but then, I don't tend to agree with most comments on MDL; especially when the majority of viewers, that watch and enjoy series, don't use MDL.

There's only Indonesian subtitles, no auto-generated English ones, and the music soundtrack seems to be a lot louder than the beginning narration.
So, I can't watch it until they add English subtitles, at least.
