just noticed god's folding cell phone in eps 5.....oh my , nice....must be expensive?....where is it made?
The folding phone he takes a selfie with in Episode 2 is an Oppo. There's a sponsor advert at the start of the episode on YouTube, for the Oppo Reno 12 Series 5G AI, so I'm guessing it's a similar model or the same one.
My fave series airing at the moment. I love how detractors are struggling to find negative things to say about…
Well, it's adapted from a Japanese Manga, so it's not exactly going to follow the "normal drama rules"; hence the non-consensual kiss. Or did you mean that it's the only fault non-fans have with the series? Not certain what you mean by using the word "detractors".
Edit: Nevermind, I Googled the word. I thought it had a different meaning... Well, I learned something new today. lol
I know only the first NC scene is fully blurred on their YouTube, so wherr to watch without the censorship? I don't see IQIYI or Viki listed above...
EDIT: Nevermind, found the full Eps on Gagaoolala; should have checked my app. lol
So...I know the translation was a bit off, and the gendered word choice wasn't always correct, but it also seemed that a lot of peeps were saying the subtitles were worse than they actually were; as the characters talked about themselves in the third person most of the time, and peeps didn't realise that part of the translations were correct. Some commented on the fact that the text messages weren't translated, which is easy to do with the Google Translate app; takes like a second. I watched it on YouTube, for reference.
Overall I did quite like it, besides how the parents treated Sprite, and how the mother was with Zee, and how Zee was with Sprite, and then First throughout as well. Zee's lack of empathy for Sprite and First, was just annoying, and he never apologised for that; besides the whole puzzle play near the end, he was selfish throughout, even in the flashbacks, and no remorse later. No idea why Salmon accepted him, just because he she was the only one he was nice too. And why dis the parents never show up to their competitions; the mother only turned up to get the coach to make the children work harder. And then the parents said the children only got a nice family meal together because they both won their competitions - like seriously - I can see Sprite going no contact, wat down the line, ar some point, after he's really fed up with their behavi6towards him, and I wouldn't blame him either.
A season two would be nice, to explore both sets of team mates finding out, how First and Sprite juggle their time to meet, the parents becoming better parents, Zee...Well...not being an arse to people and working in a team properly, and First's sister making a genuine friend or two, and of course everyone finding out about First and Sprite as a couple. It also struck me a bit odd that Jack said he couldn't see himself together as a couple, despite all they had done and been through. And more of Sam and Than would be nice, along with seeing what would happen with the lad whose mother is in the hospital.

Haven't got that far yet, so didn't read read, but scanned your words... If that makes sense... Anyway, just wanted to say that humans don't have pheromones; though as a species we did, far far back, when they were needed, but not any more.
they slept with tops on. and woke up without the tops =)) the director/asst director might have forgotten the…
Eh, lots of people go to bed with more layers on and then remove them at some point during the night, and vice versa. I go to bed too hot alot, and then end up needing the extra cover I moved to the end of the bed, at some point; then half the time I wake up way too hot again. I wake up to change the way I'm facing, as a side sleeper. others move around in their sleep, or don't move at all. Not every one sleeps the same. But, then it always bugs me, in dramas, when they go to sleep with a main light or multiple ones left on; that seems less realistic, unless you're working in an Emergency Room of a hospital with barely any sleep.
They made a new trailer with the new replacements - Aou and Poom (I think). Someone correct me if I'm wrong on…
Ah, I thought it might have been Boom. Thanks! Yeah, I saw the trailer today, but watched a lot of episodes of series since then, so brain is a bit fried. lol.
(Was just on Leng's page, so adding the same comment here, as it's relevent to them both.)
Well, I'm really glad that Kidnap didn't get pulled, like I feared it would during all the toxic ON "fan" stuff, and that it actually got to air. I really didn't think it would make it to the screen. (I was in a K-Pop rabbit hole, so only now getting around to catching up on some BLs on my Watchlist.) I started Kidnap today, and I'm on episode 10, needed a breather from the emotional rollercoaster ride, so came here to see if Leng had any upcoming projects I could add to my Lists, but sadly not...
I heard about the announcement GMMTV put out the other day, and I'm still annoyed about that. Others said it better below...but still...I really hope it doesn't effect him negatively and he gets some work soon. His chemist with Ohm onscreen is so good and natural, that it sucks they're not gonna be paired together still. So, now what for Ohm again...? This same ON toxic "fan" stuff is just gonna happen again, the next time it gets announced he's gonna pair with someone, because these "fans" seem to have more money than sense. It's ridiculous!
These toxic "fans" present across all these different fandoms, hobbies, and spaces, even ones that are not even related to the entertainment industry, they just seem to have gotten louder, every year, since COVID hit. It doesn't help that the companies, or authority figures, in power, that should be setting a better example for people, and protecting the Artists ( or others in their community that are following the rules), are just giving in to the loud toxic "fans" ridiculous demands; even if it's not in an in your face outright way - any way in "their" eyes is an indirect win for them - and just drives them to keep going and be even more out of control the next time.
Atp, I really want Ohm to leave GMMTV. Those obsessive ON shippers are never going to stop! And Ohm doesn't deserve…
Sadly, I think they would just harass him where ever he would move to. They seem to have money to burn, so they won't give up just because of a company switch.
we are not getting Only Friends 2 or Mu te luv?!?!?!
There's a new trailer up with OhmLeng pairing replacements. Aou and Poom (I think). Latter name is probably wrong, but someone feels free to correct me.

I really wish series/movies would add a "Disclaimer: Timeskip near end", because I'm so sick of going on a rollercoaster journey, to end up annoyed at the "happy ending". It's the same every time - happy couple, timeskip of X years with absolutely zero contact between them (in a world full of technology), only to discover one left with little to no explanation as to why, leaving the other behind and in the Limbo Waiting Room, and then the other one comes back, and either "breaks things off" with a lame explanation, or wants to continue with their relationship (as if they haven't ghosted them for X years), along with a similar lame excuse as to why they never reached out for those X years; and of course the one stuck in the Limbo Waiting Room is just all dappy happy they returned, quickly forgives them, and takes them back...
Just...Gahhh!!! Why!?! Just why!?! Their communication was pretty good leading up to the whole Ghosting, so why do that lame Timeskip X Years scenario here!?! (Literally paused at the "5 years later" text onscreen and came straight to read the YouTube comments to confirm my suspicions before continuing (which I don't want to now).
Like, seriously...why never do they communicate for X years!?! It's infuriating!!! I was so looking forwards to watching this, 'cos OffGun, and I loved them since first seeing Not Me. (I dropped Cooking Crush, 'cos honestly I found it not funny and bleh - sorry - and I did watch most of the wotsit Wednesday series, but I just didn't like Off's character, or understand why his character liked that woman; the chemistry between them was just...absent.) So, I was looking forwards to seeing this, and I liked it, though I did fast forwards through Sea's character and his girlfriends' previous scene (though nice they changed their dynamics for the better and are both happy together).
I still haven't finished Last Twilight, and I loved that (!!!), because...Timeskip. Like...ugh! Reminded me of a different drama - where the dude ghosted a woman because "it was better for her for him to go AWOL for X years and grow before returning after ghosting", like...how is it sane to think they would still be single and still deeply in love with them and take them back with a lame excuse as to why they didn't contact them once during that time??? I'd understand if one of them was in South Korea and the other went to North Korea (or vice versa), because they wouldn't even be able to email, without going through a different country or forwarding service/person or something...but still - which reminds me - in Crash Landing With You, the "fiance" went to America for 10 years, they didn't communicate once, she came back and their family and her were all ready to set the wedding date still - but at least the viewers didn't know about that until after the 10 year absence, and didn't know she existed, (so no one cared about the absence). At least with..."insert went back in time in that house period BL drama name" the Timeskip happened right at the beginning - we didn't see it - but again, no communication, fiance got a woman there pregnant, came back and broke things off with his boyfriend.
Like...what is with the "no communication when in a different country" that's written into these dramas!?! It's not just couples either. It happens with parents and their kids being sent abroad to study too. The parents don't contact them once. What the frig is up with that!?!
Including a Timeskip right near the end just ruins the Happy Ending. I'm so sick of discovering them in dramas I've been lovin' watching, up until that point. There really needs to be a Disclaimer; I just wouldn't even bother starting them at all if I knew one was included - unless it was a case of "accident, amnesia, peep lost and suddenly back on scene, with enough time for the findee to help the missing one regain their precious memories", now those Timeskips are justified as to why they exist.
Now...I'm going to play the rest of the episode (hopefully make it to part four), and hope Ryan doesn't get served lame but realistic excuse(s) as to why there was zero contact.
Edit: Nevermind, I Googled the word. I thought it had a different meaning... Well, I learned something new today. lol
