It’s a testament of how well Mek is portraying Tong. He is doing him very well 😂 that said i still hate Ming- there just isn’t enough redemption for me. At the end of the day Joe is with him because he wants to be and is still in love with him despite all that shit he put him through kmt.
I am struggling with this adaptation, I am not looking for it to be the same but I just dont think that they are doing well. It may be because I love the OG more but that was always going to be a tough act to follow. Atom and Kongthap in this show is not quite there for me. I love Gemini- and Fourth. In MSP and MLC but somehow I am not getting top notch acting I have grown accustomed to.

Wow you summed up my thought so clearly. I read the sample novel and definitely Sun and Lin get jiggy on the first meeting. There is a lot sex that happens in the first few chapters, Lin is meant to be virgin in the book but it was contradictory behaviour when he then had sex on the first ever meeting. Because of this I appreciated that they toned it down in the series.I was just not expecting to this level so much so it becomes boring.
They could have expanded and created more of a story from the source material but so far they haven’t. Sun is older and Lin is not a teen but somehow both characters do not act thier age. I get the wanting to keep the relationship secret angle.
I hope it gets better but if the predecessor Big Dragon is anything to go by we may end up with a mother mediocre badly written and produced show.

episode 2 was good but I felt it was not well paced maybe that’s me. I just thought spending nearly half the episode in the hotel with lin and sun doing nothing was a bit wasted but that’s just me. it was their first date and I loved the cuteness but wanted more…it’s not even about the sex but the intimacy and connection that they had on the phone didn’t translate for me in this episode. anyone know where I can read the book? is it on wattpad?
I enjoyed the first half of this show and then it went down hilll from there. there continued to be moments of cuteness and comedy but even the leads cute dimples could not keep engaged. I watched the rest of this show painfully to the end I wanted so badly to drop it. It was poorly written and made no sense at the end. The villain was useless and one dimensional, annoying side characters except for mum and dad. it honestly Felt too long and could have been wrapped up in 8-10 episodes.

What a waste of time. I watch this when I am bored and only for the aesthetics nothing else. the story is meh pacing meh acting also meh comedic sound effects distracting and too much. overall it’s boring 🥱.
