And waste that character growth.
Novel plot make more sense here because there she face everything with SY but here they makes SY character unrealistic here like he is perfect has no flaw.
So screenwriter writer wasted 6 months for her to realise that running away is not an option, it will hurt her and hurt people around her and then warn that mf

Hopefully this unbalanced relationship will become somehow balanced at the end of drama where she also make some efforts on their relationship.
