I didn't know what to expect from this drama. I didn't really think I was going to like it nor thought I would be hooked up with it till the last episode.

I love the story of this drama. I've always loved dramas that connect the past and present in an unexpected way.
The script of Healer was just great. No horrible lines, no unbelievably cliché sentences that would make me throw up, no bad guy suddenly be good guy, and good heavens no 'I-just-found-the-girl-of-my-dreams-and-I-will-protect-her-forever'. It was brilliantly made, I have absolutely nothing to change. It was real. It was perfect. And it didn't suddenly drift away from it's story, the story kept going on it's rightful path.

Now let's get to the real deal. The acting. Dear Miss Park Min Young, I will forever love you. I can't believe this is the same girl in City Hunter! Stunning performance, may I say. Although, I noticed some flaws, she completely resembled her character. As for Ji Chang Wook, I believe he was Healer in another life. He just made it into my fav actors list. Also, seeing him as Park Bong Soo was so fun to watch. I totally fell for his unbelievably real acting.
The other actors were fabulous. Everyone did a great job, Do Ji Won (Myung Hee) was my favorite character in this drama, I can't love her more <3 . And Special Big shout out to Ajuhmma! ^^

The music was good. Nothing special about it. But it did make me sing along.

Healer has all the right elements. Great action, great comedy, awesome romance. Speaking of romance, I couldn't be happier with it. The male and female just clicked together. They just fit so well. Great development of their relationship. And every time they look at each other I feel like wanting a boyfriend. I think they're in love in real life, I hope so anyway.

Watching Healer, I cried. I laughed. I loved. I hated. I pitied. I got confused, angry and excited. And I had the argue of wanting to go inside my screen and kill someone. And I had the argue of wanting to go inside my screen and hug someone.

Re-watching it? I'm already thinking about going to YouTube and replaying all my favorite scenes only a hundred times or so..

You know that feeling when you watch a drama and you just feel like there's something you want to change? that little detail that bugs you and you just wanna tell the writer or the director about? Well, I didn't have that feeling here. The number one reason of why I'm giving it a 10.

I guess I don't have to say I recommend it cause it's pretty obvious I do. ^^

My first thought when reading the plot line, was, "A girl who gained the ability of seeing ghosts after an accident? could this be anymore predictably boring?"

However, the story actually turned out to be great. Very well written. Very well thought of. I loved the fact that the main characters were different and new, greedy guy and gloomy girl? it just seems weird. but it becomes really impressive after watching the drama.

I am very weirdly in love with the male lead character. I think he was the drama's heart. I wouldn't want to change anything about him. The female lead though, confused the hell out of me, at first I understood her, but the she was just, I don't know, she wasn't very developed. I didn't seem to warm up to her. Which is why I think i'm giving this drama less than it deserves. And there is another reason, but saying it would be a spoiler.

Anyway, the acting was great. I was convinced. So Ji Sub was, as always, awesome. He completely resembled his character. Face expressions, hand moves, the way he speaks, his reactions, everything was just brilliantly acted. Everything.
The supporting roles did a decent job.

The chemistry was over flowing. great, great, great, chemistry.

The music deserves a 10. More, even. It was fantastic. I kept waiting for the meaningful scenes just because I wanted the music to play.

This drama basically has everything. I recommend this to anyone. It doesn't happen everyday to see a drama with horror, comedy, drama, romance, and it even has a plot twist.

The plot line is a bit of cliché, but since it's new for me I decided to give it a try.

I'm glad I did.

The series was very refreshing and enjoyable. and hilarious! It was nothing I expected it to be. I loved every detail in this drama. The script was awesome. The music was, honestly, to die for. It was soooooo good!! and the acting was epic.

although the lead actress was a bit annoying, I loved her (which happens rarely). Kim So Hyun is an absolute contagious crier. whenever he cried, I cried. amazing actor! and I had to give him this shout out because I know he's personality is very different from his character.

THE CHEMISTRY WAS WOOOOW! MIND BLOWING!

some people complained about the ending of this series, but I really really liked it! it's so real to me and believable. I am planning on re-watching sometime in the future.

Have I mentioned how funny, and romantic, and thrilling it was? it's really played with my emotions well, which is one of my basics whenever I try to rate a drama. and I would say I totally gave reactions on different scenes.

if you haven't watched it, well what are you waiting for? this is a great drama and I definitely recommend it!

What was the point?

I'll make this short and show what I liked and what I didn't, starting with the good things:

The show did a great job keeping me stressed out. I found myself on the edge of my seat a lot. One detail I particularly liked was when the music would suddenly stop, and the silence added to the tension. Props to the camera and sound directors, they had my emotions on a roller coaster.

The cast did a phenomenal work. They kinda carried the show tbh. You'd think you'd get used to people dying left and right, but because every single person performed their best, it kept me immersed. There were many times they had me speechless. I can't stress enough how crucial their acting was to the show.

Personally, I also enjoyed Kang No Eul's side story. I just liked her character because she was moving fast, and got the job done. It was satisfying to me amidst the frustration.

Finally, I like the depictions of how humans are capable of the most vile things as long as they're thinking to themselves they're "doing the right thing". Never gets old, because really, that's just how people are. And the irony of how some of the characters met their end was a nice touch.

What I disliked:

Gi-Hun. He's too one-dimensional. Man is always making the wrong choices for the wrong reasons. While I do like a flawed character, I couldn't find it in me to root for this guy. He doesn't look at the bigger picture, and casually views people as good or evil according to his own experiences. A lot of the times the show puts him on a moral high ground by making everyone around him obnoxiously terrible.

The detective and the whole boat looking for the island side plot. Sure, it did have its use in some details later, but in the grand scheme of things, I didn't see the point.

This might just be me, but it was predictable. You can see so many plot twists coming because the characters were behaving in a certain way. A lot of the things that occured would never have happened. The actors did their best with what they had, but it was bad writing. It felt inconsistent.

The VIPs. Need I say more?

Bottomline is,

If you're looking for a thrilling experience and want to enjoy the games as they are, I'd recommend this. But if you're looking for a senseful plot and a rewarding ending, you'll be disappointed.

I don't know what to begin with, I have so many mixed feelings on this drama. I was interested in this drama basically because it's a revenge story -which I really like-. Watching this drama I realized it wasn't just revenge, it was war.

The script... Um, it was good. Well written. I didn't really focus much on it, but nothing bugged me about the script and gladly, I don't think there's a good scene that was ruined. So I can say I'm happy with the script.

The acting was great. Specially Kim Sang Joong who played Lee Jin Pyo, he was so awesome and gave me the chills with his acting. His character was the most complicating character I've ever seen. A lot of people here were just fabulous with the acting and some were meh. But generally it was great.

I didn't hate the main female character, and I'm very pleased with that. Usually the girl is annoying and pisses me off. So I'm very satisfied. And I liked the chemistry. Lee Min Ho deserves at least one good chemistry in his dramas, and Park Min Young was a good choice.

I liked a couple of songs in this drama. I didn't 'love' them, I'd say I enjoyed them. But the background music was oh my god amazing. I absolutely loved particular sounds that come on action scenes, it's an instrumental piece called "Sad Run". It excited me so much. The sound tracks in this drama are so awesome. I think I'll download every instrumental piece.

This was a great drama. It totally had played with my emotions. There were times were I was really pissed off. and times were I laughed like crazy. and times I was on edge and times I was excited. and times my eyes were teary. And I would even sometime shout at my screen. I like a drama where I'm not numb while watching it.
I wish it had more episodes because I really enjoyed it. More bad guys to bring down and more action scenes! I have to say the action scenes were pure awesomeness. They were the heart of this drama.

I think this drama deserves a re-watch. And I recommend it to anyone.

So goodbye, don't cry, and.. smile! :)) (a song from the drama~)

Five minutes ago, I watched the last episode of this drama. IT. WAS. GENIUS.

The plot was very interesting. But it wasn't how I expected it to be, it was better.

What I love the most about this drama, is that, it was very unpredictable. And, it has everything. The script was very mature. I really loved it. It wasn't cheesy and it didn't ruin the scenes, it made it better. Nothing was too much.
I loved the fact that each episode has something new, there wasn't ever an empty episode like regular dramas.
I'm also very impressed with the gradation of how Cha Do Hyun's memory return. In other dramas, they just keep dragging the episodes and then everything is revealed in the final episode. But, in "Kill me, Heal me" his memories return gradually which was believable and realistic, and it gave us something new in each episode.
I loved every personality Cha Do Hyun had. Every single one, specially Shin Se Gi. I routed for him from the beginning. I loved them more after knowing the stories behind them.

The plot twists were just... wow.. amazing.. amusing.. shocking.. everything I've ever dreamed of in a plot twist. Again, nothing was predictable. You think you figured everything out, but then suddenly the writers drive you insane.

The acting was epic. very real, and the face expressions were suitable. The supporting roles did a great job. I specially love the brother, Oh Ri On.

The music was good. It wasn't fantastic. except for the song "Auditory Hallucination" which was brilliant.

I want to re-watch this drama, I think I will, sometime in the future.

This is a definitely watch drama. It was funny, genius, heart-warming, thrilling and just.. Genius.
It's on the top of my recommendation list!

"That summer was like a dream... permeating my entire youth..."

An artistic coming of age story between a sensitive yet strong Xiao Zhi falling for this caring yet hesitant ge Chen Li. Most of the episodes are short, and are really a perfect example of "Show, Don't tell" cinema. There is great symbolism including nature, fruit, birds, and books. You find yourself constantly reading between the lines and get rewarded in later episodes.
In the beginning, there was a youthful feel to the story, but as the characters interacted more, the vibe shifts to ambiguous tenderness, and there are little touches and eye contacts here and there, and it feels like they live in their own world.

Xiao Zhi is just a beautiful soul. He feels a lot, and is the type to cry over books and movies. But, he's also unyielding when he has to be and I really appreciate that about him. Chen Li cares for Xiao Zhi both physically and emotionally, and you can see how he's always paying attention to him. But, he struggles with his identity and it felt like he was fighting his feelings, so it was really interesting to see them being, and I quote, "suffering, yet passionate."

Huge shoutout to the actors. They communicate a lot with their eyes, and I can tell what they're about to do just by looking at their expressions. They also have great chemistry together. And shoutout to the cast behind the screen, every detail mattered and I could tell they took it seriously.

I really enjoyed the music as well. It was a good fit for the theme of the series.

I particularly loved the story-telling aspect of the show. There were quotes by the characters in the beginning and ending of the episodes. I have to say I was put off by the subtitles because till this day I have no idea what was written in the beginning since the font was really hard to read (If anyone has an idea or link pls let me know), but my favorite was,

"He can understand my paintings,
knows I dislike being defined,
and is always considerate of my delicate emotions.
I wish he were just like me."

There are short special extra episodes that you can find as well. They add a lot to the story, I fell in love with the characters again through them. I wish they were longer but I'm also very satisfied as there aren't really any loose ends.

Poems of Youth

I'll preface this by saying I read the book, and while it wasn't completely following the same storyline, I'm not mad at it. The choices made in this story made for a wonderful journey. Even if they're not the same words, the meaning remained. Sure, there were some details that bothered me but overall, I loved this series.

The acting was great for both leads. One small nitpick from me is that Sheng Wang is much more of a bragger and has the energy of someone in need of a beating (love him), but was depicted much more milder. I still really liked the actor Liu Dong Qin, he definitely gave the impression of a Young Master, even though it was a different approach. Benjamin Tsang also shined as Jiang Tian, his eyes look exactly how I imagined. No complaints.

I also loved the choices for all the teachers, casting wise. Not really sure how I feel about the story centered around them, as there were a lot of additions I wasn't a fan of. Another thing was some directive choices for the "comedy" scences that I didn't enjoy, and just made me uncomfortable.

Moving on from that though, this was beautiful. It felt like listening to a poem and imagining the scences being played out in your head through the screen. It really captured the emotions of youth. It wasn't just about the characters falling in love. Our characters were different, but they were both so similar in how much they were shaped by their broken childhood. It was very satisfying to see all that expressed cinematically. The way both of our characters gave each other what they needed the most gave me life. Jiang Tian saw through Sheng Wang's loneliness and was there for him, and Sheng Wang showed Jiang Tian what it was like to have a home that belonged to him. It's a wonder I can still write this without sobbing.

Another great point was the relationship between class A students. I adore these goofballs. Usually the classmates in high school settings are just background noise, but I felt an actual connection between them and our main lead. The family dynamics were also really good. There was a layer of awkwardness in their interactions, and it felt real.

There were some songs I didn't really feel and I kinda didn't care about the ending song. But〈寂寞而已〉by 蕭煌奇 Ricky Hsiao. and Interlude - Trash really hit the spot. Both the lyrics and vocalists got me in my feels.

I have to admit, having read the book might have added more inerest, but I'm positive I'm not biased when I say this is a great drama and you should give it a watch.

Brilliant choice with the cast. Our two main leads have amazing chemistry, and they're both wonderful actors. Really enjoyed the second lead by Song Geon-hee as well. Might be a bit spoiley but I loved what they did with his character, I was rooting for him. Overall though, I absolutely believe the show was carried by Byeon Woo-seok.

Our main character Im Sol, has her heart in the right place, but I don't know where her head is. If I had to describe her actions throughout the series, it would simply be "Doing The Most". Sure, it added a lot of comedic effects and I definitely laughed a lot at her shenanigans. The actress Kim Hye-yoon also helped portray her as "cute" rather than "annoying", but by the end of this story, I was honestly questioning this woman and her poor decision making ability. That's the main reason why this story dragged out. I feel like this could be a great 10 episode story if she just stopped and used her head.

The main lead Ryu Seon Jae was pretty much golden retriever energy through and through which I don't like usually, but the actor Byeon Woo-seok made me change my mind for once, and I thoroughly enjoyed his character. I found him charming and cute when he's being smitten.

Most of the side characters annoyed me and I couldn't care less about the Side Lead. I didn't find them funny, nor cute, it was kinda way too much. They just got on my nerve and it was really difficult to pay attention to the screen when they showed up. Loved the grandma and the begrudgingly supportive friend Baek In Hyeok. The prize goes to Kim Tae Seong. It's worth repeating how much I liked his character. One detail I liked in this show, how she liked the "badboy" image when she was a teenager, but when she grew up she fell for the "nice guy" who gave her life. A bit cliche, but I vibed with it.

There were brilliant directive choices that kept me hooked in the begining, they really tied everything cleanly in the first half of the show. They didn't need an antagonist, the show managed to make everything interesting with small details and bits and pieces that were revealed at the end of each episode. Then, after the "villain" was revealed, it just got... bland. It was mostly due to Im Sol not having the word "wise" in her dictionary, but I felt like it could have been more thrilling and engaging. Instead, it was a disappointment. I want to drop my rating every time I think about it.

The humor in the show is a hit and miss. Some scences got me laughing so hard I had to pause. Other times, I was cringing so bad, I was close to skipping so many times I had to physically stop myself. But strangely, I'm not mad at it.

The music was great. Not much to say but the OST [10CM - 봄눈 (Spring Snow)] was my favorite. I found myself singing along by the end.

This show started out really strong. By episode 3, I found myself easily hooked. Halfway, it kinda went downhill, and as sad as this sounds, I'm kinda used to this pattern in K-dramas. Still, it was definitely an enjoyable watch and I don't regret picking it up.

Overall, I had a fun experience. It's the kind of drama that I wouldn't rewatch fully, but I'll definitely repeat my favorite scences and watch multiple FMVs. So, there's that.
