I'm on episode 5 now and oh boy, I think he's(Hiroto) getting serious. :D In my case, I usually watch high school comedies so I am also adjusting to these adult dramas. LC is my third "adult" jdrama. :)

Thanks for the greeting!!! :D As for Tachibana, I actually like him from the get go. It's Hiroto that kinda gives me the "bleh" reaction. Now that he's being a bit serious with Sakura, I'm starting to warm up. I'm still not sure if he's genuinely in love or if he's still doing this for the "game" and money though!! :P

I guess I know what you mean by complicated. Hahaha. :) I am know watching Last Cinderella and they do have complicated girls there.

I started my Last Cinderella journey. No regrets in picking this one so far!! I think I'll enjoy it till the last episode. Sakura and Tachibana scenes really cracks me up.

There's some singers that give me the same reaction. I just have to give them a few more listens to "warm" my ears up and appreciate their talents. Haha. I do know girls who tend to gel better with guys. It's all about preferences I guess.

Actually, it was by I Wish which is Kawashima's band before she went solo. :) Sorry for the confusion. Since we're moving forward in time, the 90s Japanese music era is probably where I am most familiar with. From bands like Zard, Wands, Spitz, Mr. Children, Glay, Larc~En~Ciel to solo acts like Ayumi Hamasaki, Namie Amuro, Ami Suzuki, I like them all. :)

I have a friend who is exactly the same as you!!! She almost exclusively listens to male singers only for the same reasons XD. I can say that I listen to female singers more than male. 60/40 split maybe? :)

I know Enka but I only discovered it through Ai Kawashima(love her to bits). She did a cover of Ii Hi Tabidachi and they listed it as "Enka" As far as I know, it's a very popular song from the 70s. Unfortunately, I can't find the Ai Kawashima version on Youtube.

AKBingo is a game show about AKB48(Girl Group) similar concept, the hosts kinda "bullies" them and they make them do silly games and stuff. Asian variety shows are awesome! :)

I see!!! I'm not familiar with Korean shows yet but someday I'll check them out. Rock Fujiyama? It is Variety/Talk Show which features both Jrock and foreign rock artists. They talk, they play games like "guess the riff" and they perform live music at the end of every show. :) It's like an idol show but for rock musicians. Speaking of idols, I might start watching AKBingo. :P

With variety shows I assume you are referring to Japanese ones? :) I've seen some. Do you watch Rock Fujiyama? :D

I'm actually having a blast listening to these gems. :) Thanks!! I do like different eras of Japanese music. I can pretty much switch between Mika Nakashima and Noriko Sakai(I think she's part of that 80s idol music era that you were talking about) in a snap :)

I'll be honest, I only added it because a favorite band of mine did the themesong. A fan made mtv with clips from the drama made me intrigued. :)

True that. Weekends, I can watch in the mornings but weekdays, I usually watch 1-2 episodes. I stay up late and end up watching 3-4 if it really gets my attention. :)

Q10 is good but you have to watch it with a different mind set. :) Much like what I said with One Pound Gospel, watch it with an Anime or just an open mind. Don't even think that it's a Jdrama since it follows a different formula in my opinion. :) I do that too. I sometimes just pick a random drama just because I like one cast member!
