Yeah, I only know broken Japanese(I know words but I am poor with constructing sentences) so subtitles are a must for me! Have you watched all episodes?(Gokusen) :)

For horror, I suggest you start with the classics. Ring, The Grudge, Dark Water, One Missed Call, The Eye, Shutter(Which is not on this database). They might be old but they are the staple. :) Well, there is some truth to what you said. One Pound Gospel's delivery is not like your classic Jdrama. It's actually more like a toku(Sailor Moon live action, Sentai) than a drama for me. :) They really focused on Kame's knack for comedy. As for Meisa, I like her awkwardness as a sister, especially on that episode where she became jealous. :)

And based from experience, a translator software is not that much of a help. :) Another thing that I noticed, that Myst in your name, is that a reference to the video game?

It's from a movie, Detroit Metal City. There is also an anime and manga version. I've seen them all and they are all hilarious. If you like straight forward comedies, this is for you. It's a fanart? Her drawing is really good!

Who doesn't like Girugamesh right? :D Have you heard their cover of Glamorous Sky? It's really good! LArc~En~Ciel is probably my favorite VK band.(It is tough to decide because there are so many GOOD Japanese bands out there) Sing loud and proud! Don't forget the obligatory "Ill lean back and look cool" when you hit the high notes. :D

Yes. When I said non Visual Kei bands, I'm referring to bands like The Pillows, No Regret Life, Asian Kung-Fu Generation who doesnt dress up and has a more "western" sound. :) Singing is fun! I don't sound that good myself but I'm happy when I sing. :D I'll definitely give your recommendation a listen once I get the chance!

Yeah, I like a bunch of Jrock and metal too, including the non Visual Kei Japanese bands. Do you play? I use to play in bands when I was still studying. :) Now, I am knowledgable when it comes to rock but Medieval rock is something new to me. The closest that I know of is probably that rock version of Greensleeves. I forgot the name of the band. :)

Well, Good Evening then!! I only mentioned the Scorpions just because they are probably the biggest German band who managed to penetrate the U.S. market. I like a bunch of genres because I grew up listening to music. I can listen to Phantom Of The Opera then go listen to Younha then to Metallica then to Sodom then to Larc~En~Ciel lol

Texas is Southern U.S. :) Texas, Georgia, Alabama, people there sound different. As for food, gosh, Lasagna, Baked Ziti!! We actually have a nearby Russian grocery here. Beef Stroganoff and Lamb Cutlets, so yummy. I also like the one which has mushrooms and potatoes on it. I forgot the name. lol

Oh, accents extremely differs from one place to another! I live here and I still have that problem if I speak with someone from the Southern U.S. haha. I am originally from New York but I am now working in Philadelphia. :) Your friends were from which state/city? :D I actually have friends from Europe, mainly from Italy and Russia. I love the FOOD!

Yup, she's also the lead in Anego and she's very adorable in that drama too! I live in the U.S. but Filipino blood runs through my veins. :) How about you if you don't mind?

Sorry, my bad with the word structures! Let me clear that up: "Hotaru is one of those age gap rom-coms." -> I'm referring to Hotaru no Hikari. "I like the female lead and that's one of the reasons why I'm watching Last Cinderella next! :D She's really good with the "woman with the young lover" role. XD" -> I'm referring to Last Cinderella. Again, sorry!

When she goes Yakuza mode, yeah, it becomes really funny! I really like it when she accidentally says "Teme!" Ran is one of the few female Sentai leaders.(Even though she wears the yellow suit, she is considered the leader) :)
