Beautiful written story
I never write reviews but The Oath of Love really connected with me.At first, I only watched it due to wanting to know what is all this hype with the ML XZ, so I thought I will watch one of his drama and actually sit through it.
I almost dropped it a few times but kept telling myself, an actor with the popularity to his caliber (it is the most I’ve seen in a celebrity) will not waste his time on a stupid plot or something boring and cliche, so I kept continuing.
There are some things (we all do) that I went through in life, at the time seems impossible to get through but are just part of life that helped me grow as a person.
This is what this drama is about, the growth of both ML and FL while going through life’s obstacles. They both did a phenomenal job delivering their characters (it is the best I’ve seen) I’ve seen thousands of dramas, mainly modern so it’s huge for me to give something 10/10.
The pace is perfect, but their characters is so well written that I can clearly see their growth.
It is not a romance fluff skinship type of show. The romance part is also the best written I’ve seen as well because, that is where it tied them together and they grew stronger because of the love they had for one another. If the love wasn’t there, they wouldn’t have made it through those obstacles.
It is also a drama that has be actually be watched and not fast forward to kissing scenes or whatever, it’s the storyline that made it a beautiful drama.
It’s a drama that delivered and took out every emotion I had, I cried, i laughed, frustrated, sad, happy. (No other show has done that for me)
You get everything but not to the extreme, just in a realistic way.
The last 3 episodes is the BEST and so bittersweet, everything will make sense if you watch it to the end. Rewatching is better the second time for me.
