Coming from a queer person and within creative community who watches this drama, I freaking love how complex the characters (lol for me this is a good thing kinda tired of generic bl characters)are relatable this show is especially if you are gay trying to express yourself. Like how it depicted internalized homophobia within gay ppl especially from a country where it is relevant lol. The characters are not perfect, but gave a sense of reality which is rare to see in bls where it is mostly lovely dovey.
Obv we don't tolerate what we see in films but to tell honestly the SA scene had me on chokehold it is painful to watch as it should be, it was not romanticize unlike other shows. This show is topnotch, but the major flaw was how fast paced and rushed it was. It was a major shift from the manwha but story-wise, cinematography, soundtrack, and cast is topnotch.
Overall a really good show, for me one of the notable ones in 2024! Try to see it for yourself if still hesitant about it ^^
