Personally, I would recommend the Thai remake, titled "F4 Thailand," while it is essentially the same plot, it's more recent. Tu Tontawan played Gorya (Jan-di), it was her first acting role, and the fact that she got the main character is incredible. I also recommend watching each version, they're all unique in their own ways.

Gu Jun-pyo's hairstyle is absolutely diabolical. The camera shots, audio, and the acting aren't that great too. Nonetheless, it still cracks me up whenever I rewatch it.
