I genuinely do not understand how this is rated so low. I am a massive K/C drama fan and have always found Shen Yue so natural in her productions (be it a good story or bad) and Smile Code has for me just showcased how much she has grown as an actress! she does not need layers of make up (like Kim Hye Yoon, Lu Yu Xiao) to shine. These fandom wars which drag down scores of great productions which means audiences do not watch them is just so unreasonable. There are plenty of actors and actresses who I do not enjoy (and currently airing) so i just don’t watch them, I do not go onto platforms and low grade them! okay rant over, first ever comment I’ve written (aside from asking where to watch this show) and I feel I got it out of my system! P.S first Lin Yi drama and I believe he is doing justice to a very difficult character. Can anyone who has read the novel share if this is a good interpretation of the authors work?
