I enjoyed the drama :) I just wished the screenwriter would have also explored other sides of the story and Dan-i's backstory. It was just too convenient to have her daughter study abroad and forget about her for the rest of the show.
Awesome drama and I got goosebumps at how fitting the music was. I'm not sure how intentionally they choose that song and if they know about the lyrics, but Kim Joo Young often listens to classic music. One of the songs often heard features the famous german poem "Erlkönig" by Goethe. It was chilling how the poem fits with the overall drama. The poem is about a father who carries his sick son on a horse, while the son hears a voice whispering and enticing him. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erlk%C3%B6nig_(Goethe) )
The movie had its world premiere at the 69th Berlinale Film Festival and won the audience popularity award. It is the first feature film of director Hikari. More information: http://www.37secondsfilm.com/
I'm wondering if it would be too confusing to watch another exorcism drama so shortly after The Guest. I feel I might be too confused because the world in this drama might function differently and everything follows different rules.
Me too! I really wish there were subs :( It looks like such a good movie!
I study in HK and found the DVD in a CD Store called HMV so I bought it immediately when I saw it. Too bad I took the DVD with me during my summer vacation at home and left it there.

Actually I was able to watch it with english subs. If you could wait till December I could provide them :D I bought the DVD with subs, but I left it at home before I moved to study in a different country. So I will only get back around christmas :/
They don't have 251 at the moment. They are currently at 227. The higher number (now 255) is the total number…
I wasn't talking about the total episode number :) Season 3 has currently (even according to Wikipedia) 228 episodes. The number 255 is the total number of trips. Usually two to three episodes cover one trip. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_2_Days_%26_1_Night_episodes#2018 The first row is not the episode count but the trip count.
Has anyone watched it yet with english subtiles? Is it not out yet, I'm dying to watch it lol
I have seen it with english subtitles. But this was at a Hong Kong cinema where most movies will have english subtitles. Since it just came out, it is unlikely to find it online for a while.
Just watched it today and it was so good. So much happening and the production value seemed so high. I really liked the sets and the costumes and how elaborate everything was to bring this world to life.
I've seen a few of his works and he is the first director who's work I can immediately recognized. So many of his shows have this brown colour palette and also the same supporting cast all over. It's funny how he really likes to work this set of people and how there are always the same faces but with different relations. In one drama this person is the director and in the next a maid.
The cast and the story were amazing. It was truly an enjoyable ride and proof to me that strong writing and acting do matter between all those dramas lacking one or the other. Life on Mars is a drama that grabbed my attention from beginning to end and made me use my brain, which I highly appreciate.
