I became an Arashi fan (and Johnny's fan) thanks to their dramas too! MatsuJun's Hana Yori Dango was what caught my attention of the group. That song (Wish) is such an earworm but I love it!! It lead me to learn more about them (their other songs and tv shows), their company full of other amazing groups (Hey! Say! Jump, Johnny's WEST), and other J-dramas!
They really deserve the title of "Best Boy Group" since they were able to drag me into the Japanese industry thanks to their quirkiness and talent!! I'm a very thankful fan and I will definitely miss seeing all 5 of them together when they go on hiatus. Ganbare Arashi and Arigatou!!
