I personally am enjoying the pacing and story so far.

I feel like, people want dramas to jump right into romance, relationships, swoon worthy moments AND have all side characters give main character energy within the first 3 episodes or else it’s considered boring 🤷🏻‍♀️

This reminds me of the long 50+ episode dramas that give more background story and development in like the first 10 episodes before the real story begins..

I believe she did that so her own daughter can live.

She had a child out of wedlock and was most likely ordered to give up baby? But secretly had her and she switched them when she had the opportunity to.. most likely planned by her SIL

Meaning she don’t give a crap about her twin brother or niece and wanted her daughter to live. Her SIL hated Lady Li cause she was actually in love with Lady Li first husband - aka the twin/father that died in battle - but had to marry the brother who is a bad husband and helped as an ultimate FU to lady Li

A Chou - really the daughter of Lady Li and husband that died in battle..

Wei Rao - really the daughter of the aunt who dotes on her
“Aunt” had a twin brother, who was AC father… had WR out of wedlock - dad not yet revealed… and switched the girls with the help of sister/WR other aunt who is mom to the cousin that hates her…

- Girls are really cousins who were switched at a young age, reason not yet revealed…
- Paternal Grandmother doesn’t know
- Maternal grandmother suspects

Does AC suspect she’s the daughter ? The way she’s timid with Lady Li & the 1st episode how she stares at herself in ther mirror …

Every episode seems like only 10 min long!! I’m impatiently waiting for the next episode because I just NEED to know what happens next! 😆

Agreed! POJ would have been a top drama for me but the second half storyline took a nose dive. I was excited for the capital story line but then went huh?! When it didn’t deliver any impact especially with the ML storyline.

TFJ while not romance heavy with all the cutesy lovey dovey stuff… it’s very thoughtful and tugs at your heartstrings..

I first noticed Ci Sha in The Blue Whisperer! I love an actor that can do manly man well! 😅 I agree about Arthur Chen and it’s funny cuz the comment section of LBTG criticizes Dilraba and Arthur pairing “aunt and nephew vibes” 🙄.. I don’t understand that..their chemistry and visuals are stunning together.

I think the issue is viewers that finished a more recent drama are expecting the same fast pace dynamics between the leads and waste all their time comparing.. I’ve seen so many comments complaining about camera angle, or makeup and how pale FL looks.. you know cuz she’s a ghost queen 🙄

Idk, I always go into a drama with no expectations and I don’t compare any of it. I watch it because I like it and if I don’t I drop it and move on.

I hate waiting for new episodes so I usually wait until half way point before I start a drama. But lately I’ve been starting them early 😅

I’m enjoying this story, chemistry, visuals & pacing.

She literally only acts like that in the episode 1 in that scene because she is in disguise.. half way through episode 1 you see her character shift. She is the ghost queen and it will show how powerful she really is..

I feel it’s either they don’t like the leads or are expecting fast payoff in romance like some other popular dramas and refuse to slow down and just enjoy it.

It’s like riding a thrilling roller coaster, only a bigger more thrilling one will excite you next.. going back to a slower pace ride will only bore you unless you’re able to appreciate each ride for its own charm.

I personally enjoy this pacing & character building, storyline, visuals, and think the actors are doing a great job in both chemistry and owning their character.

Yes!! I really enjoyed the first half of POJ.. second not so much.

I don’t understand the need to compare dramas.. you like that one great! Don’t like this one that’s fine too! But to come on LBTG page just to say the other one camera, make up or whatever else is so much better… what’s the point? Drop it and move on!

Right?! It’s fine if it’s not your style/genre but to nitpick at these little things as the reason it’s a bad drama?!! Every complaint is “no chemistry” or “camera angle looks weird” something shallow “can’t stand the hair and makeup” really!? That’s what you got?!!

Haters are literally rating each episode all the way to 40 which obviously hasn’t even aired ..So when rating each episode it brings the overall ratings down.

For reals it’s so annoying. It’s only a first few episodes and the complaints are so freaking dumb. Like just say you hate her and be done… go watch your bias and leave this for the ones that’s aren’t crazy to tear her down for no reason
