I really want to like this show since it seemed interesting at first and it is long which is a plus. But so far I have found the writing a bit cheap and childish. I really would have preferred more clever writing but as it is now the characters appear to behave quite stupid and silly, I would have liked it to be more dark and with less comical relief which I find to be more annoying than funny. Sometimes part of the writing feels like a 90's american soap opera which obviously is not a compliment.
I honestly felt this shows beginning was a bit mediocre. Everything looked great, but the plot in the first episodes I felt played out a bit silly or naive. However I'm pleased to say that this feeling did not go on after watching a few more episodes.
You get totally drawn into this drama and it is so fun to watch it together with someone and discuss what you think will happen. The acting is well done and the atmosphere is very cosy. I'm happy to see that China is starting to produce more and more great quality asian shows. Before it used to be just Japan, and then Korea, but now we have so much to choose from. I just wish more Chinese shows were translated.
I have seen over half now after slowly going through this series. The rivalry between the two guys is quite interesting, but the love story I find quite bad and predictable. The main character is so incredibly naive and annoying. Her most repeated sentence is probably "I don't believe he/she is like that." and never can really take a side... makes her story boring.
The beginning of this series is really good, the plot is interesting, the characters as well and it's really funny. However I think the last few episodes even though interesting becomes quite a mess with dumb actions.
The ending I mostly predicted quite early and it was a disappointing ending for me. I don't think he should still want to see Seo Rin after her actions even though she had some weak reason about protecting her brother who had been more or less brain dead for over 10 years.. and she should certainly not avoid prison, unlike Tae Chon who got imprisoned, she was accessory to murder in two cases and murder in one. But obviously the main character somehow forgave her, still loved her and they seem to get a "happy ending" together..

I agree with everything except that it would have the worst ending. The series starts really good and is fun, and there are some interesting backstories. Then as you say the story just kind of halts to a stop.

So disgustingly disappointed in this joke of an ending. I was anticipating it but I still continued to watch since the beginning of this series is very interesting. But what the hell were the writers thinking? This is one of the most tardiest endings I've ever seen in a drama.
As someone else said, korean series really overdo it with letting the bad guys get away with any disgusting thing you can think of, as long as they shed a tear and mumble something about being regretful or whatever. Of course the main villain(the bitch) gets away with it much more than Choi Soo Ho. Seems the worse you are the more you get away with in some korean series.
Gave this series 4/10 because the ending is a joke and unfinished and lots of small annoyances during the series. The writers should be fired. I don't think you can hardly find anyone that would say this is a good ending.

This drama is good but it could have been much better. It is sad to see how they are constantly building the plot by creating misunderstandings and for example times where a character obviously should tell what truly happened but won't.
This can work from time to time, but when you start to see every episode being like this it drags down the story and irritation sinks in.
Having seen my girlfriend is a gumiho, I hoped this one would be at least nearly as good. This one is one of the worst korean shows I have seen(of course I try to watch mainly highly ranked ones).

After something threatening has happened, the day after they would continue as usual and don't take any precautions. Problems with so many things in this series.
