Reading the comments, I see so many people who binged watched it haha ! I read there will be a season 3, that it was announced ? I really hope more will come I NEED MORE ! (once again thank you, you're lifesaver haha)

I don't know... Of course they could if they wanted but would they do it ? If I were a company I don't think I'd hire more people for that project... Would be more expensive in terms of workforce and it's better to keep the hype going a bit longer no ?
And I honestly think two episodes per day of the week is pretty good a pace already... When they buy licenses aren't they supposed to follow the original schedule at best and just be careful not going ahead ? They're more than 10 episodes behind so far, and the gap keep on increasing... So I don't really see why licensing would want them to have a certain amount of delay as compared to the original OO

I understand how you feel as I am also stuck at episode 30 and will need to wait until Monday to watch more... But I pity the subbers. As someone who worked in subtitling and know how hard and long it is, I can only admire the pace they keep at. So let's wait patiently and be thankful to have any translation at all and as fast as they are now.

Really, it wouldn't have shocked me to have japanese actors called Levi and stuff... I mean in the anime they don't look more "western" than other animes whose plot is set in Japan and hearing them speak a perfect japanese didn't come as a shock either so I wouldn't have mind for the movie too... but well...

I read (the sources sounds legit and a simple Google search makes one find the article) that they abandoned Levi because as much as Eren/Armin/Jean whose name can be written in japanese easily Levi has a V in it that isn't present in the traditional japanese system making him naturally sound foreign. But since they changed the settings to Japan with japanese protagonists they decided to not make him appear in the movie.
Now this is only my point of view but I really feel like they're trying to push Shikishima as a replacement (it's is not Levi as to say but a fill in?) mostly because of how he's introduced and looked up for but also how weirdly similar his collar looks like Levi's.
As for how Levi appeared in the anime later than in the movie, I don't know if we can trust that since Henji appeared muuuuch later than Levi in the anime when she's one of the very first introduced in the movie....

Wasn't he replaced by the losely similar character of "Shikishima" ? That's how it felt to me at least...

Added the very first heart for this actor here ! Really loved his role in Shine or Go Crazy and really think he did a great job portraying this complex character that Sewon was >< I really hope to see more of him very soon !
