Nauriya, yes you are right. NM is doing wrong here. But since we know her character she is not giving up so easily on anything. And it is her first relationship. I think both NM and SWR are ignoring the fact that they both are not in love with each other.

Episode 20 we see Lu Jimeng very jelly. He never let Ning Meng out of his sight throughout the movie and forgot his companion...🤦 And Menmeng seems to be a nice person..hope we will have no evil female characters would not suit this drama...

Episode 18 &19 is showing us Ning Meng is suffering in worklife and private life, but she is honest to herself and also brave enough to face the situation. And we learned again she such a loyal person in every way. Her character development is huge, Boss Shi is amazing how she make her facts clear which Ning Meng only accept without thinking under the surface. Ning Meng was the whole time something between a secretary and an analist. Now she is on her way to becoming an investor. This drama is made by women to support women! 💯👍

Think they will grow together during they will become partners in their new investment company after bankruptcy of Joint Capital. So they will be on same level in biz and in private life. Think this is very important for us women to be on equal level as our men.

Su Weiran is a badass investor with no compassion. He has already told Ning Meng that in New York he was ridiculed and humiliated by everyone, and with hard work he proved to everyone what he can do. Also that he thought like Ning Meng at the beginning and is now only out for profit and does not personally identify with the investment projects. Think he will be actively involved in the case of LJM company along with Ning Meng's best friend's boyfriend. One reason he is interested in Ning Meng is probably her good heart and kindness, and he sees his old self in her. He supports her with words and also encourages her, but in the end she herself will not have any influence on him. Don't feel like he gives his heart to her or even wants to open up to anyone again. His life revolves 100% around his success and the power that comes with it. That's why he's unpredictable and not at all the type of man for Ning Meng. She also responds to him how he acts, reserved, polite and friendly.

Do not think soooo... because of the age gap

SFL only has a cameo appearance in this drama, from her appearance it made Ning Meng really realize that her feelings for Lu JiMing have changed. She has started falling in love with him. And also Lu JiMing will realize that his dreamgirl was only a teenager dream. But I think it is realistic when a very good friend from overseas with a broken heart will come to visit you of course all attention is on the guest. Honestly who or what is Ning Meng officially to LJM? He has admitted that is taking care of her, and also afraid someone will bully her... he did not realized the reason why. Forhim she is like a friend...someone he can trust...but we all know this will change...

İt makes sense that they are becoming friends first and more equal since he is at the moment officially her ex boss and not a friend or colleague. Since LJM is very stubborn and Ning Meng has suffered a lot from him they have to know each other new in a different level.

be sure it is not an excuse for the character and bad behavior of LJM since he copies his father w/o knowing it...but in reality it is the same sons treat their wives as their fathers treats their mothers...and daughters are copycats of their mothers...our families have an immense influence in our lives
