Well sadly there aren’t really many gls which is upsetting but there’s a few short films that i really enjoyed. Gagaoolala has a huge selection. I personally liked sui, butterfly and matcha&vanilla but theres a lot of other good ones.
The handmaiden is also really good. One of the best movies ever made you should check it out if u haven’t.

Yeah that part also hit me hard. Jiwoo knew about SJ’s parents. He knew that he had already been abandoned by the people that were supposed to love him the most once, yet he still proceeded to make SJ go through the same thing again. That is so selfish and heartless. He has absolutely no right to say that he loves him because you don’t do that to someone you care about. SJ literally went through months of being stuck in this hole of self loath and sadness. It just really grosses me out and i genuinely do not understand how anyone can defend Jiwoo’s actions. There is literally no reason why you would do this to someone you apparently love ESPECIALLY if they already have trauma.

And i fully agree with your opinion on the ending. It gives ppl the idea that this is love.. which its not. This is a very corrupt relationship lets be honest. Them not ending up together would send a message that sometimes you have to give up people in order to love yourself and maybe the one you love just isn’t the right person
