I made this comment a couple of days ago too and someone said it might be due to the 1 child policy that was still in place back then and they probably didn’t have the money to pay fines. QY’s family is so toxic. The dad is taking -10 responsibility for anything, just blaming the mom for how QY ‘’turned out’’ and just doing whatever his family wants. A doormat. The mom doesn’t understand her kid one bit and treats her like trash. The fact that she still doesn’t get why QY did what she did even after being called out is mind boggling. Atp the mom is just trying to be ignorant. Also how dare she tell QY to leave her house and then slap her for doing exactly that. QY is so strong cause I couldn’t continue living with these ppl.

As much as I dislike the parents, seeing her mom break down makes me feel bad for her. Can’t imagine what is feels like to have your kid missing. Hopefully this event makes her change cause I can’t stand how she treats QY and the whole BY situation.
