I mean this is a page for the show so ppl aren’t really gonna talk abt the book on here a lot. But I think most ppl who had the misfortune of reading that train wreck of a story would agree that it was gross and very problematic. Even CJD herself said she doesn’t want ppl to read it anymore. It’s so badly written. Idk what she was on when she came up with that plot and the characters.

As much as I hate that Empress Dowager, she is absolutely serving looks. I’m obsessed with her finger jewelry. She never misses with her fits.

I loveee that Prince Annan finally showed up. He’s badass and his outfit are gorgeous ughhh. But ngl his return felt super fast paced. At what point did he even remember who he truly was?? And 5 mins later he’s already trying to kill LiWei? His complete memory loss also happened too fast imo. Like give us some time to comprehend wtf is even going on.

Seriously the shipping is so weird. A couple weeks ago ppl on weibo where deadass analyzing someones finger on a ZY photo and measuring mole distance and finger length just to prove that XN’s hand was in the picture.. The amount of posts with EvIdEnCe that the actors are dating in rl is insane. They’re really out here interpreting every micro expression as prove that they’re romantically involved. That’s mental illness atp. At first I was laughing cause wtf is going on, but it’s gotten to a point where they need to be institutionalized fr cause I don’t even think simple therapy would help with what ever is going on in their heads.

This was amazing but the last ep felt so rushed. They needed more time to properly wrap this up. Surely they could’ve made ep 12 over an hour long..

Huh I thought the ‘’past’’ was the same story in a different universe. Kinda don’t like that them changing the ‘’past’’ affected both timelines.

I have to get this thought out of my head. How will he ever enjoy life if she’s not present😭 This is killing me

I’m just hoping that SJ was immediately also somehow teleported to modern world cause I can’t deal with the fact that in his world he’d be without TY forever…

So SJ remembers her too right? My guy was smiling when he saw her cry and say that she knows him. Yeah he’s been waiting for her in modern world and she finally showed up on those stairs and now they’ll get married and have kids and grow old together, happily and with no regrets. Soulmates for sure.

This kinda went downhill towards the end because they had to somehow put an entire arc in 3-4 eps. This would’ve been perfect if they had more eps to properly pace the story. Still in my heart this is a masterpiece and I’ll always come back to this show.

The guy is a walking poetry book atp. He always finds the most beautiful way of putting his feelings into words. I’d also love for someone to compile everything into a document.

I’m also loving ‘’you are the only one in this world who can make me yield without a fight’’ from ep 27.

That’s her real voice. That’s how she sounds in interviews as well.
She’s over here delivering an award-worthy performance. Where exactly is she overacting helpp 😭
