The way he survived that diabolical car accident is insane to me. I know it's a K-Drama but to THAT extent? Unscathed?…
Yeah lol it was pretty unbelievable, but he wasn't unscathed - He was severely injured, got a concussion, and passed out while talking to sua on the payphone. Imo the only thing keeping him awake till when he passed out and went to the hospital is adrenaline.
Nooo, LDH's comeback in Hong sisters' drama is not it 😭 I have never vibed with any of their dramas...
I LOVED the master's sun, but hotel del luna was a miss for me. I've seen clips of alchemy of souls and I think I'll like it, but Hong sisters's plot lines are always great - it's just that execution is not always there I feel.
bitch how are you gonna sue people who have no money for 8 million fucking dollars after you deny your 6 year…
That was so insensitive and unsympathetic of him to do that to the parents of the deceased - Even if he proves he didn't date her as a minor this case has just proved he's a bad human being.
it was good but i think 12 episodes were too much for this drama it should have been 8 or 10 episodes
Really? I thought there should've been more - there were so many points hit-and-missed, like the chairwoman's true motive, romance, closure between ML and chairwoman, etc. I really enjoyed the drama though.
There's a lot of suggested romance and cute moments between leads, but it's not really physical and doesn't take up much time. It's more comedy and action.
I saw the reviews for this drama. Is Season 2 and open ending?
There's no confirmed season 2, but the post-credits scene added something that could turn into a second season. The drama itself didn't end open endedly.
The drama wasn't perfect and had its flaws (last 2 eps I'm looking at you), but I was hooked from the start. Solid 9/10 right now, may move down to 8.5 once I get out of my UHS era.
What did Yena mean by "I need more time to understand you" there is no understanding her!! I hate how they still made Yena love her mum, it would have been more impactful if she met her for the last time in jail and told her she hated her or something. Also I wanted to see SuA in a pretty dress while Haeseong was proposing!! The last romance scene could have been longer.
I feel like they skipped and rushed a lot of things - like the lackluster romance (the kiss???), SMJ's reason of being a maniac, JHS satisfyingly confronting SMJ at the end, etc. Also why did it take 5 years for SuA to finally become a teacher??
I wonder if they actually pull a "maybe the actual gold bars were the friends we made along the way" or in Myeong-ju's case, killed. I honestly don't know what to expect at this point and I really like that - but I do think the last episode will be rushed like ep 11.
The plot is nowhere near done and there's only 1 ep left - not to forget the comedy and romance we will get. (I'm not complaining about that though, I loveee Haeseong x Sua and would love more romance - but I need more episodes!)
Why is the NIS director SO DUMBB. He literally told Myeong-ju that the only way she can get convicted is if he (ALIVE) testifies as a witness. So of course she's going to kill him!! And then he had to get Haeseong to talk to him in a shady place. Ig Haeseong was a bit stupid for that too, but his life has been so eventful recently so I'll cut him some slack.
